  1. I‘ve been having a nose around a few EFC forums but mainly Bluekipper for a few months now and it really is a sight to behold. As you can imagine, they are suicidal at the moment, which is understandable as I’d feel the same if we lost, but the bullshit they come out with is very very funny. They are really pushing this idea amongst themselves that they are all about dignity and respect and we are classless. The genuinely seem to think they have no racist fans, or scumbags who like to throw a dig, and that they represent all that is good. It’s quite amazing to read some of the stuff they say. One fella spoke about how a red was shouting ni**er at the TV when Yakubu scored against us for Blackburn and how he went over and belted him one. The others replied about how that was typical of our racist fan base??? A few of them saying they were in our end for the semi-final and that they “genuinely didn’t hear one scouse accent”, and the rest of them are lapping that up. Not only are some of them utterly stupid enough to still push an idea that all the locals support Everton and there are no local Liverpool fans, but the others actually agree. They come back with replies about how they know this and you never ever hear a Liverpool accent on a Liverpool fan. One fella mentioned about the Norway and Irish accents and some poor Irish Everton fan tried crack a little joke about it, and he was told it was ok that he was supporting Everton because clearly that meant he wasn’t a glory hunter unlike those twat foreign Liverpool fans. I was laughing so hard I almost dropped my coffee. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be a Norwegian, Irish, Scottish or even an English Everton fan from another county, and to go on to an Everton forum to hopefully discuss your team with other Everton fans and find that you are basically not wanted. Nearly every thread is littered with abuse about non-local Liverpool fans. It must be the most unwelcoming football club in the league if you are not from the area. The real kicker for me was a thread that was recently started about how shite it was that the owner and manager treated them like a small club and how the players choked on big occasions. They were all agreeing about how they desperately wanted to get rid of this small club mentality, yet when I looked at the names of the people in the thread; the exact same people were piping on about shite foreign Liverpool fans in half the other threads??? The mentality is amazing. And if you disagree then you are immediately a “wall pusher”. There is an alarming level of hatred on there and wall pushers and murders is a shockingly about of times on every page. I know we call them bitter but then on our own forum we will have threads about them or Man Utd and this can be quite hypocritical, but I can honestly say that at all times there is comfortably twice as many threads about us on there then there are about Everton and Man Utd put together on our forum. And if a thread isn’t about us, we’ll get mentioned pretty quick into it. If they genuinely want to progress and be a big club again then they really need to get the huge chip off their shoulders about us. Yes, continue to hate us just like we’ll continue to hate them. Yes, there will and should always be threads about us, as it will always be biggest game of the season alongside the Manc game. But they seem to define themselves based around what we are doing or have done. Every banner they seem to suggest revolves around us being shameful and them being dignified. Where they have got this idea is beyond me, but they actually believe it. They need to realise that it is a big world where Everton have some fans all over it but should have a hell of a lot more. Embrace them, and more importantly welcome them. If I was a kid in Ireland or Norway or wherever, would I stay supporting Everton when I saw how much they genuinely dislike non local fans? The stupidity of them putting their hands over their eyes and shouting about no local Liverpool fans, or all red shite are racists is just dumb and so small minded that they are destined to accept mediocrity and go nowhere. Bill Kenwright is their perfect Chairman in fact. They played in an FA Cup final 3 years ago, yet Kenwright was saying before the game on Saturday that this was the biggest game he’d been involved in during his time at Everton? Moyes said his best time in the last 10 years as manager of Everton was beating us 3-0 in the league at Goodison? He won an FA Cup semi-final against Man Utd yet this wasn’t his best moment? The small club mentality spreads from the Owner down and is a cancer throughout their club. Long may it continue.
