I used to have no problem using torrents to get movies and then watch them through a variety of DVD style player programs. Since formatting the PC I am having loads of problems. The main problem is that all files are being downloaded as if they are a microsoft media file and then when I use DivX or whatever the programs are used they just say there is no video file there! I think it is to do with the way I am downloading a default format or something - any ideas? cheers

This is a serious possibility. Over the past few weeks i've heard more and more journalists and commentators stating that they think Giggs should get the award. The fact that Olly Kay from the Times (one of the best journalists in the country in my opinion) is suggesting Giggs is currently going to get his vote has cemented in my mind that there is an excellent chance of this happening. Personally, and this isn't because i don't admire Giggs or because he is a manc, I think this is a crock of shit and would extremely devalue the award. The Footballer of the year award should always go to the best player throught the season, no one else. Giggs has had a remarkable career and a good season, in fact, this last month he has been awesome. But that, frankly is not enough. He hasn't even been United's best player, or indeed, their most influential. The reason United sit at the top of the table is down to their excellent defence, not because of Ryan Giggs' solitary goal at West Ham or his generally good play this year. He's played something like 900 minutes this season. To put that in perspective, i think Torres has played a similar amount and won us around 10 points with his goals. Is anyone seriously suggesting Nando is in the running? No, because he hasn't played enough, and that's fine. If Giggs wins this award it will be a joke. Players like Vidic, Gerrard, Jagielka, Barry, Young, Alonso, Cahill, even the likes of Van Persie and Robinho have had far more effective and all round better seasons than Giggs. Anyway, just wanted to make a point of what a joke Giggs' inclusion (and potential winning of) in this race is. At ease.
