I'll open this now as there is about 3 weeks and a bit to this years Festival and it should be a cracker. If you hear any info, have any hunches, any tips or see anything of note in the run up, this is the place to post it. Also, if you fancy a tipping comp, which I'm happy to run, then sign up for it here, I suspect Bob, Al, Owen (LoT), Jonesy and a few others will be up for it, so register your interest and any points you want to raise.

Am I missing something? I was always under the impression that in order to win an FA Cup tie, or indeed the Cup itself, that you had to score more goals than your opponents, even if it by the mechanism of a penalty shootout. To my surprise, the Blueshite fans in the Anfield Rd end apparently believe they have won not only the tie today, but also the Cup itself. Is there some rule I'm unaware of?

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTENT IS NEITHER AFFILIATED OR ENDORSED BY TLW if you've read the article by paul someone or other and read the posts below it you will see that our retarded cousins sang 'united top of the league' and 'we've fucked your season up' simply to hit us where it hurts. well, they seem pretty used to being told they've not won a thing in 14 years and that their best manager hasn't won a trophy or been to a final so how can we 'hit them where it hurts'? - obviously, knock them out the cup by 4 or 5. - throw crisp bags full of piss on them from the upper annie. my suggestions are pretty lame (the second one anyway) so feel free to post your own. good flags / banners or songs would be good.
