Hey everyone I'm releasing a book and I need to gauge (or should that be 'gage'?) what interest there is in it before I do the first print run. The book is called "The Kings Last Stand - the final march with Kenny's Army" and will cover the whole of the 2011/12 season from pre-season to the appointment of Brendan Rodgers as Kenny's successor last week. It's looking at coming in at around 366 pages, it will be A5 and the price will almost certainly be £10. It will include all the match reports and weekly Premier League round ups that have been on the site over the past season. Some of you will have read them at the time of course, but if you liked them first time around I'm sure you'll appreciate it even more when you're reading them one after another as it puts a much better context to it all (at least that's how I felt when I was putting the book together). There will also be a couple of chapters written specifically for the book and I'm including the in depth look at the Suarez / Evra case that appeared in the fanzine. If you didn't buy the fanzine you won't have seen that, it's pretty infuriating stuff really and highlights how outrageous that verdict was. Anyway, I'm not looking for any deposits from you, this isn't Koptalk. What I want is to know who would be interested in buying it and how many copies you'd like. Got a couple of copies of this to give away in a competition. The book is set in Liverpool and the author Paul Kennedy is a big red. He often browses TLW and saw the book threads on here, so he sent me a few copies to give away to forumites. I haven't read it yet as I've only just got them, but DT has read it and loved it. Sorry to start a new thread on this if there's one already running. But here's the scoop... The lad's who got this all sorted, went to a load of personel expense to get it done. It caused them allsorts of grief. And the lad who sorted it all will probably bollack me for saying this, but throughout the whole nightmare of getting this done, he was nursing his terminally ill aul fella, who's now gone. But I don't want to go on about that, as I said, he will probably bollack me for even mentioning it when he finds out I have. But here's the thing, the whole project turned into an absolute nightmare for the lad's that done it and they sink loads of their own dough into doing it. But things they had no control over fucked up the supply and shipping. When shirts didn't arrive immeadiately, some people got a cob on, understandbly, but some started cancelling orders and made it all the worse. Well... The shirts are now in and are ready for shipping. They're boss an all. I can't put links in because I haven't made enough posts... but they are in a site called Viga. Just write our shirt in your search bar and they should come up. So, if you haven't got one, order one, get your mates and family on it an all, and spread the word. If you use any other forums please put that link in there and tell people to order them... No one's making a profit from these. That's why they are so cheap, and any money left over will be used to continue the fight against the owners and go to the Hillsborough charities. So, come on... look boss and help the fight.

Who's this fucking idiot then? I'm not as 'up' on my journos as many are on here but I had the misfortune to listen to this prat this afto on Hawksbee & Jacobs. He basically said Torres is off, probably to Chelsea, and for way under the asking price "because Liverpool are so desperate for the money" and that Stevie is definitely off to Real, not a great surprise if it does happen admittedly, but the reason Evans gave was along the lines of "if he doesn't go now he'll spend the rest of his career knocking the ball about in midfield to players who are getting increasingly worse than him because Liverpool are in terminal decline." He was introduced as a Liverpool supporter. Sounds like an utter prick to me. Which scummy piece of shit does he write for? And before the doom & gloom merchants jump on this can we remember that the club is up for sale, the procedure is in place for that to happen and that there are interested parties. I'm so sick of this pessimism from Liverpool supporters. The media are doing a fine enough job of deconstructing anything positive about the club without wankers like Evans jumping on board.
