What has Gareth bloody Barry got that Xabi hasn't? I am starting to get fucked off big time with Benitez over all this and the way he has carried on through this summer with this and the Keane deal as well. Both deals have left a sour taste in the way we have conducted ourselves. O'Neill doesn't deserve any stick in any way shape or form for any of this. The mancs signed Carrick and Hargreaves for 18m apiece and O'Neill is only doing his best to get the going rate for a player who is keeping those two players out of the England side at present. Xabi is a great player and a great, humble guy and is one of those players I am proud we have had playing for us over the last four years and Gareth fucking Barry isn't fit to lace hos boots. Why didn't the mancs, Arsenal or Chelsea ever go in for him? He is a decent player don't get me wrong but Xabi is two or three years younger and still a better all round player. Better passing ability, people say Alonso can't tackle (rubbish) he is more than adequate in that area and people say he hasn't got pace. Yes and Barry is fucking Linford Christie isn't he. The money NEEDS to be spent elsewhere like on quality out wide or maybe a decent right back.
