My mate text me before saying he's just told a bird who's he has been mates with for ages that he really fancied her and wanted to have a proper relationship with. However she hasn't even bothered getting in touch with him for almost a week now and he basically thinks that he's ruined their friendship. He said that they have been mates for 4 years and both recently became single. He reckons she was giving him the come on as she asked him to stay with her in her new flat next week and they have been flirting with each other over e-mail. He said he's had a few chances before but for whatever reason he didn't do anything because he didnt want to ruin their friendship but he thought that her asking him to stay after all the flirting was the green light and now she doesnt want to know him. Has anyone experienced anything similar? I did a while back but my lady friend had just got divorced and wanted to move abroad, thankfully we are still friends though.
