Heard a rumour that David Moores has pulled out of giving him a couple of hundred thousand pound for Share Liverpool, because he is content with the ownership situation at the Club. This must have been the money Rogan was crowing about in the press last year about now having the money to underwrite a share issue, he has been very quiet recently, not like him at all!

What a week so far, Sat in work on Monday morning when my wife rings me. Tells me her Dad had come home from work, bit of indigestion Chest a bit sore, gone for a lie down with a couple of paraceutamol. You know when the alarm bell starts to ring in your head ? Told her to ring back and find out more. She rings back saying he had pains in his arms, cold and numb. I sort of knew at that point what was going on, but trying to put it in such a way as to not alarm my wife was difficult. "Forget the Walk-in-centre, Go and get him and bring him here NOW" (Here being the hospital I work at). The next Phone call I get is internal from A&E, she's distraught, tells me he's having a Heart attack and is being transferred to the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, which is on the Broadgreen site. I Leave the office, leg it over to A&E as they are wheeling him out with my wife in tow, Fuck me he looked terrible. He managed to stick his thumb up at me before they put him in the back of the ambulance. Reassured her he'll be fine ( What else could I do?) I Then go back to the office, preparing myself for the conversation I'm about to have with my Wife's Sister who also works here. Go in to her office. "You need to come with me," "No Leave your things I'll get them later" "Its your Dad, he's not well" Think it went something like that, she broke down too. Well its Thursday now, He went straight to Critical care at the Heart centre had a stent inserted to clear one blockage, still has 2 more which will be cleared within the next couple of weeks, they wouldn't do all 3 at once as it may have overwhelmed his body. From Critical care to the ward and today he's coming home, with a whole bucket of tablets to take every day. On reflection we were so lucky this week. My wife normally works Mondays but she swapped her day as one of the kids wasn't well. If things had been as normal she would have been at work, Mother-in-law would have been minding the kids, Father in law would have come home, took the 2 paraceutamol, gone for his lie down and…. Well you know what could have been. Suppose it wont do any harm to add this, British Heart Foundation - Heart Attack

A friend of a friend tells me that there's a possiblity he could be in the paper tomorrow (Express I think); apparently he was approached by some journalists doing a story on Hillsborough and agreed to an interview, but only if they paid him a fee to do so. What a total cunt.

We utterly dominated the game, and I think 2-0 flattered the bitters, but Cahill's sending-off was unjustified, in my opinion, and gives them a whining point. I'm sure reasonable Blues will say they'd never have won it anyway, and of course they wouldn't, but it's a shame that Riley, who I think had a very good game apart from that, had to blot his copybook with the Cahill decision. (Nando's goal should still have stood - so I count that as a hat-trick.)
