get a 1 year ban. By Mark Ledsom BERNE, Switzerland, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Serbia and Chelsea defender Slobodan Rajkovic has been given a one-year ban from all competitions after spitting at a referee during last month’s Olympic Games. World soccer’s governing body FIFA announced the sanction on Friday, following a meeting of its disciplinary committee on Monday. “The committee decided to suspend Slobodan Rajkovic for 12 months for spitting at the referee on 13 August 2008 after the Argentina v Serbia match,” FIFA said in a statement. “This suspension applies to all national and international matches including club competitions. FIFA said Rajkovic could appeal against the decision. Rajkovic, 19, was signed by Chelsea from OFK Belgrade in 2005 at the age of 16 but remained on loan to the Serbian club until the end of the 2006-7 season. He was then loaned out Dutch side PSV Eindhoven and is currently at Twente Enschede on another loan deal.

The worse thing that could have happened to LFC I was there and can quite honeslty say that it was without doubt one of the best 4 days of my life on this planet, truely magical. However if we hadnt have won it and been out of the CL Moores would have defo had to sell up and get funds into the club and that would have been well before the Americans were on the scene. Ok we may well have had a Thai connnection with appalliing human rights issues but we would have had a owner who would have had the stadium built by now and would have tried to bring the players Rafa wanted. I wouldnt change those magical 4 dsys for anything and we exist to win trophies but if we had lost the club might now be in a much better position and not facing such an uncertain future
