Anyone got anything on what was going on today, after Torres planted that cross on Gerrard's head, Stevie headed out towards him to celebrate and the visibily changed direction and went past him to the crowd. Nando trotted off on his own back the half way line like we'd conceded. I'm assuming that means Torres is off and Gerrard's not happy or am I reading too much into it unless you've any more news.......

Gabrielle Marcotti spitting feathers on Twitter because loads of people said they voted for Xabi Alonso in the Balon D'Or but actually meant to vote for Xavi. Columbia's captain, Mario Yepes, insists he voted for Xavi but his vote is down as Xabi. Fucking brilliant. But, anyway, really interesting read to see which people voted for who in the awards. http://karllusbec.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/ballondor_award_men_player_finalx.pdf As wonderful as Messi was, I think Xavi was the heart of the two best teams in 2010, whereas Messi was only in one. For that, I would have voted for Xavi.

i have just had the pleasure of being banned from the official liverpool website for calling a chap that said masch for 20 odd mill was "a fantastic bit of business" and insulted the stone roses handicapped...love it.love it.love it.
