Well I've now reached a momentous milestone on here and what a day and what an occasion to mark it. Last night I was considering a youtube video or some pics, but our first league win for many years, and Rafa's first ever in the league against the mancs is better than anything I could have found. Many sincere thanks to the friends I've made on here. Dave, you're the best, mate! Andy, Stevie, Ted, Cain, Roger, Al, Duncan, Pete, Stouffer, Karl, James, and a few more, thanks for many laughs and to all the rest I don't know too. Damo

He'll be fit to face Manchester United By CHRIS BASCOMBE, 07/09/2008 FERNANDO TORRES is on course for a shock return against Manchester United on Saturday. The Liverpool striker limped off against Aston Villa last weekend with a tight hamstring but the injury is not as serious as first feared. The Spaniard has already returned to training and club doctors are optimistic he will have recovered in time to face the champions. Reds skipper Steven Gerrard is less likely to feature as the midfielder, 28, had a groin operation last week. He is back in light training but the club is torn between having him available and bringing him back too early and aggravating the long- term injury.
