This is the squad Liverpool have submitted today: Home grown players Jamie Carragher Joe Cole Stephen Darby Steven Gerrard Glen Johnson Brad Jones Paul Konchesky Jay Spearing Non home grown players: Daniel Agger Fabio Aurelio Ryan Babel Milan Jovanovic Dirk Kuyt Sotirios Kyrgiakos Lucas Leiva Raul Meireles Christian Poulsen Pepe Reina Maxi Rodriguez Martin Skrtel Fernando Torres Clubs can supplement their squads with an unlimited amount of players under the age of 21, meaning Roy Hodgson will also be able to call on the services of Peter Gulacsi, Martin Kelly, Daniel Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey, Daniel Pacheco, Nathan Eccleston and David Ngog for Barclays Premier League games this season. 2. Assuming that Dave Maddock’s article in the Mirror this morning is correct, and there is an initial £15m transfer kitty plus the monies generated from the sales of Javier Mascherano, Yossi Benayoun, Albert Riera, Ryan Babel etc to re-invest, who would you like to see the club sign this summer? Transfer news: Liverpool set to tie up deal for Roy Hodgson to become new manager in next 48 hours - MirrorFootball.co.uk “.......Yossi Benayoun’s intended departure to Chelsea should be completed by the end of the week, with the £5million fee added to an initial transfer kitty of £15million. And with Argentina international Javier Mascherano also likely to depart for a fee in excess of £30million, with both Barcelona and Inter Milan pursuing the midfielder, then the new boss could have upwards of £50million to spend, especially with peripheral figures like Albert Riera, Ryan Babel, David Ngog and Diego Cavalieri on the way out.” CURRENT SQUAD GOALKEEPERS • Jose Manuel Reina • Diego Cavalieri • Martin Hansen • Peter Gulacsi • Dean Bouzanis • Charles Itandje DEFENDERS • Glen Johnson • Daniel Agger • Sotirios Kyrgiakos • Emiliano Insua • Jamie Carragher • Philipp Degen • Stephen Darby • Martin Kelly • Steven Irwin • Martin Skrtel • Daniel Sanchez Ayala • Jack Robinson MIDFIELDERS • Alberto Aquilani • Steven Gerrard • Albert Riera • Yossi Benayoun • Maxi Rodriguez • Javier Mascherano • Lucas • Jay Spearing • Damien Plessis • Nabil El Zhar • Alex Kacaniklic • Gerardo Bruna • Jonjo Shelvey • David Amoo FORWARDS • Fernando Torres • Dirk Kuyt • Ryan Babel • David N'Gog • Nathan Eccleston • David Amoo • Daniel Pacheco • Krisztian Nemeth • Lauri Dalla Valle
