Please spread the word. 6.30pm: The Hillsborough debate - Liverpool FC
  9. As we prepare to celebrate Kenny Dalglish's 60th birthday this week, we want to know what makes the King of Anfield so idolised by Liverpool fans all over the world. On Friday we will run a feature on the official website titled '60 reasons why we love Kenny Dalglish' - and now we want your input to help compile the list. Why do you love Kenny so much? What makes him so special in the eyes of Liverpool supporters? List your reasons in this thread and we'll select 60 of the best to include in our special birthday feature for the boss
  10. We've canvassed opinion in the .TV office and each chosen a favourite blog, photo or video from 'The Kop'. You can find links to each here: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/lates...ds#add_comment This one: Liverpool Fans Impossible Is Nothing - The Kop Video - Liverpool FC is probably the best video to be posted so far, anyone that's been on a European Away will absolutely love it. Turn off after 3m 15s (before the end) if swear words on a flag would cause offence (probably not if you're on TLW)... Also if you've not heard Helen Marshall's FOAR arrangement, then don't delay: The Fields of Anfield Road (guitar arrangement) - The Kop Video - Liverpool FC What do you reckon to our picks and is there something we missed which deserves some recognition? Also we made some small changes to the layout but we're still very interested in your feedback on how we can improve the site. Appreciate any comments.
  11. We thought you might like to know about a special edition of LFC TV Now Interactive tonight. We've got three top guests in the LFC TV studios tonight to discuss the 20th anniversary of King Kenny's resignation, our European exploits as well as Dirk Kuyt's choice in music - so make sure you get involved from 5pm GMT. Our two hour live interactive news and phone-in show will feature ex-Reds Gary Gillespie, Jimmy Case as well as journalist Jonathon Northcroft. We'll be discussing the day Kenny Dalglish brought his first reign as Liverpool boss to an end and asking where you were and how you heard the news on that fateful day. We'll also debate whether his side of the late 80s would have conquered Europe if it hadn't been for the ban for English clubs - would we have beaten the likes of FC Porto (87), AC Milan (89) and Red Star Belgrade (91)? On a lighter note, Dirk Kuyt has revealed how the music on his iPod has helped improve Liverpool's fortunes, so we'd like to know what songs/artists get you pumped up for matches? If there's anything you want to ask any of our three guests during the course of the show you'll have two hours to make your views heard, so ring in on 0845 234 4567. If you don't want to come on live TV then you can also share your views by emailing lfcnow@liverpoolfc.tv, posting on our facebook wall or tweeting @LFCTV. We'll also be running a series of live votes throughout the show to gauge the opinions of Liverpool supporters on a wide variety of topical subjects. 'LFC Now Interactive' is your show and your chance to make your voice heard - so tune in this and every Monday and Friday between 5-7pm for the best Liverpool FC debate. 5pm: Live phone-in on LFC TV - Liverpool FC
  12. Oops! The dangers of copy & pasting, sorry about that. Thanks for the feedback, we've had a good response so far. Sorry to those of you who have had problems. As mentioned above the site is still in a beta phase and we do anticipate the odd hiccup so would ask you to bear with us. For any queries about technical matters please send an email to betafeedback@liverpoolfc.tv and we'll try to answer as soon as possible.
  13. It's not another forum, so there aren't topics in that sense. If someone's only there to crusade against a player and does it on unrelated posts the chances are that other users will report them. You can easily find the rules governing the site, unfortunately I can't post the link as yet here. There's a swear filter to pick out the worst stuff but we realise this is a football site and fans will get passionate. Common sense should prevail. If people are trolling then use the flag feature. However as per your post above, one persons expressing honestly felt opinions about Babel and Torres is another persons wind up merchant, so they won't necessarily get banned. Photos, Videos, Feeds, Blogs etc. This isn't a message board, it's hopefully somewhere where any LFC fan, whether a member here at Rawk or elsewhere can contribute and share their own thoughts.
  14. Hi, We wanted to give TLW forum users an advance look at a brand new site for LFC Supporters. thekop.liverpoolfc.tv will be Liverpool FC’s own social network. You can share photos and videos, write blogs, collate news feeds and of course comment on and share content with each other and LFC staff too. We hope this site will bring some of the passion and wit of the real Kop online. The fantastic banners, songs and chants, everything that made the Kop world famous, with one difference, it's a lot easier to get a ticket for the Kop online :) We want our supporters to raid their photo libraries and post their favourite images. We’d also like some of you to write blogs on the official website if that's something you are into. If you already have a blog here or elsewhere, it may be worth also publishing in The Kop – as the traffic levels should be quite high and more people will be able to read what you write. Already, we have staff on there writing blogs to try and better explain what we do with club media and also to give a little insight about what it’s like to work for the club. We hope this area will help to strengthen the links between the club and supporters, you get to see more of what we do and we get to hear what you'd like to see more (or less) of in the future. Participating in The Kop should prove to be a mutually rewarding experience for both ourselves and supporters. To join the Kop go to:thekop.liverpoolfc.tv and click Join Now and create your profile. It doesn't take long but if you're already registered users on the Official site, simply login and you’ll very quickly be posting. The Kop is still in Beta, this means there will be the occasional bug that needs ironing out or improvement needed but please DO set yourself up and start contributing and interacting on there. Some of you may just want to put up some pictures, others may want to write a blog or post videos – it’s up to you, how little or how much you do. Don't forget you can add your own RSS feeds to your profile, which can bring all the LFC news you want directly to you. Finally, we also need your help. This is a space for supporters to share their love of all things LFC. If you see something untoward posted then please use the 'Flag' option to alert us so we can quickly remove it. We will need supporters help in this way if the site is to be kept site safe and sustainable. Hope to see some of the TLW regulars on the Kop at some point. Best wishes, LFC.TV
  15. Hi all, Liverpool FC's Commercial Director Ian Ayre will be taking supporters questions tonight on LFCTV. This sort of opportunity doesn't come round very often so if you're interested in how Liverpool FC conducts it's commercial operations, how the Club makes decisions on what it should and shouldn't do in the commercial sphere etc or perhaps how LFC works with commercial partners then this is your chance to put them. You can find more details on the official LFC website. If you have any questions you'd like to ask Ian you can of course submit them via the routes listed at the site. However you can also use this thread as we'll check it later today. Over to you :wave LFC T
