People here are defending Rafa to the ends of the earth, blindly defending his transfer policies saying Keane was just unlucky that Barry wasn't bought. So I ask you all, how happy would we be now and how in contention for the title would we be without Xabi Alonso? He was easily our best player for the first half of the season and remains our one of the best. So can somebody please explain to me what Rafa was thinking? And don't say it's because Barry is an English player because you don't get rid of a player for a worse English player.

i'll start. i get up every day at around 4:30am, for no reason, without an alarm, with absolutely nothing urgent to do. i've been doing this for years. it is great in the summer, but not so much in the dark of winter.
