He may celebrate when they actually score one.

Well, nary a smile there for the third goal which he himself scored the curmudgeonly fuck.

Leave the non-celebrating sulk to Henrys and Cantonas of this world.

  2. Not really arsed about Ingurland but was a tad surprised that Jadon Sancho isn't in the squad. Knew that he wasn't exactly pulling up any trees for Dortmund last season but then so was Sterling and the rat's in. Couldn't be bothered to find out if they'd occupy the same position in a hypothetical starting eleven though.

Shows just how much of a plank Southgate is. I for one can't wait for the inevitable QF exit and the wailing and gnashing of teeth in gammon central later.

I'm in a massive minority here but I don't dislike him. Not good enough and I'm glad he's someone else's problem now, but in fairness to him (from memory) he always put a shift in. He was just completely and utterly braindead. He was like sticking a dog at left back: he'll get up and down but he'll always be in the wrong place unless dumb luck intervenes.

Mos def. Totally unsuited in a back 4, more of a fit in a system with wing-backs. If I recall correctly he came on as a sub on several occasions, slotted in on the left of the midfield and played well every time.

Maybe his goal against Spurs clouded my judgement, but I always have a soft spot for him. Enjoy the win Albert.

  4. Well, you won't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket. Fat Fwank made a career out of it.

Against the dregs of the league putting on the low block, always a source of frustration in me that the players don't attempt this more. The front three and the midfielders certainly have it in their locker. Jota and Thiago though, are the only ones having shots from distance in recent memory although I expect this to be coached out of them next season.

  5. I always find that for a country founded with egalitarianism in mind, the political dynasties in the US stick out like a sore thumb. You've got the Kennedys, the Bushes, the would-be Clintons (a small mercy she didn't win in 2016 otherwise the fighting in Gaza right now would be done with sticks and stones). If Biden doesn't get his shit together we will be seeing an orange-hued one in 2024 and for the foreseeable future (and not the marching kind).

I just think his confidence is absolutely shot. Every time he comes on you can see him thinking of his natural instinct to pass forward or shoot , and then shake his head and pass sideways. He needs to go for his career and sanity.

Spot on there, only to find his teammates static as lamp posts in the box (even Mo) especially late in the game. With the lack of movement in front of him what options did he have? Pass it backwards/sideways, rinse and repeat.

  7. I knew he had a shocker when he came on, but am I only the one who hasn't given up on the Power Cube? I'd like to see him in the starting line-up alongside Thiago and Fabinho as he COULD make things happen with that left peg of his and he doesn't shy away from having a shot from outside the box. Speaking of which, is shooting from outside the box verboten now? Lost count on the number of instances the players could have taken a pop seeing how deep the Baggies defended and it was late in the game when Thiago had his attempts.

Ironic given that Carragher got exploited far worse than Kabak on plenty of occasions despite being a regular at CB for the best part of a decade. Maybe we’d have won the league during his time were he back up to a better footballing centre back.

Oh yes, the instances of Henry turning him inside out and being beasted by Drogba must have happened in an alternate universe according to our rent-a-Scouse-gob Jamie.

  9. Long time lurker here. Why in the name of fuck didn't anyone in red haranguing the bent Manc cunt after that penalty decision? Could only see Trent asking Marriner Jr. there what the fuck was that all about while Gini and the others clearly not arsed. Klopp and the boys should drop the nice guy facade pronto and start to emulate some of Taggart's vintage with regards to players' interaction with the officials. Being Mr Nice Guy just would not cut it anymore, you'll just gonna get shafted by the cunts in black week in and week out.

Oh look, the camera zooming in on drunken Ferguson after the final whistle. A sight for sore eyes that is..
