  1. He's so much better now he's realised not every first touch has to be a Cruyff turn. Under Rodgers he slowed everything down so much with that shit.

In this system he's great in that central role. He finds space really well and although he's a slow weak fanny when he gives it first time or does a Cruyff turn at the proper time he looks fucking excellent.

  2. Well I have questions for all them positions.

Goalies - Mignolet is shit with his feet and getting worse at stopping shots. He's not great at commanding the box either. Why'd we buy him? Why have we replaced him with a 23 year old kid who might be better with his feet but doesn't do coming for crosses or set pieces, when we already have a major weakness with crosses and set pieces?

Centre backs - Lovren was £20m and until Klopp arrives didn't look like being worth a tenth of that. Even after months of improvement he still gives away two goals in our last match. And what's going on with the £20m ball playing centre back who seemed perfect for a team playing a high line and building from the back?

Full backs - Why don't we have a proper left back? Why don't we have any backup for one of the most energetic positions on the pitch? We just want 50 games a season with no injuries or drop in form from Clyne?

Defensive midfielders - Klopp got us out of a hole here by reinventing Hendo as a DM. Other than him we've got a lad with the agility of a cruise liner who's better going forward than back, and a 29 year old who plays like he's 35.

Wide players - we could have had Mané for like £11m when he went to Southampton. Now we've paid the premium and got him he looks like one of our most important players and our attack looks much shitter when he's not playing. So who's his backup when he goes the ACON? Sturridge? Can you think of a more different player?

Strikers - why do we have so many when we play one up front and the only one Klopp seems to trust there is Firmino?

I'm not having a go at Klopp at all because he's worked wonders with this squad. If you'd told me last year that a centre midfield of Hendo, Lallana and Wijnaldum could go to Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea in the first few weeks and dominate them, I'd have laughed at you.

I just think that for the money we've spent and recouped since FSG have been here the squad should be loads better than it is and if we didn't have a fucking brilliant world class manager we'd be seeing the effects of that on the pitch.

  3. We've been complete shite at transfers since Edwards has been here. Difference is, now we have a manager who can get the best out of the players and make them look loads better than they are.

The squad has major question marks over the goalkeepers, full backs, centre backs, defensive midfielders, wide players and strikers. Could you see any other manager than Klopp getting anywhere near as much out of these lads?

Maybe Klopp knows how to get the best out of Edwards as well.

  4. Seen a little bit of them this season and they look alright. Aggressive pressing in midfield, if they win it back high they'll break wide quickly and get Zaha or Townsend running in behind for either a shot or a cross to the back stick for Benteke. If they're sitting off and have to attack more slowly they'll look to use the full backs to chuck crosses in from deep instead. Pretty one dimensional but unfortunately that dimension is our main fucking weakness.

If we get a cunt of a ref who buys all of Zaha's antics while giving us fuck all I can see us getting a bit of a pasting. If they go a goal up they're just gonna sit deep and kick fuck out of us as well. Ledley and Delaney are fucking yard dogs and Cabaye loves a sly ankle tap or two. Least they haven't still got that Jedinak cunt who reserved the one worldie free kick of his entire fucking career for a match against us.

Any win will do for me.

  5. We've been facing a parked bus in at least 15 home games a season for years and years now. Used to fuck me right off how the smaller teams in the league would go to Old Trafford and shit themselves, be beaten before they even stepped on the pitch, then come to us and defend like 10 Franco Baresis for 90 minutes.

The only time I've seen regular bed shitting from the smaller teams at Anfield was in 13/14 when they fucking knew a parked bus was gonna do fuck all to stop us scoring.

This is what Klopp was talking about when he said "gegenpressing is the best playmaker there is" though isn't it? Don't give the shithouses time on the ball even to hoof it up to a big bastard of a striker. Get in their face as soon as we've lost it, move it quickly and gaps will open up.

  6. Meh, we just don't do good goalkeepers. Reina was the only top class keeper we had in the past 25 years or so. The rest have been decent to absolutely dire.

Reina was only good for like three years. By Rodgers' first season he'd got so carried away being a sweeper keeper he'd forgotten to do the basics like stop shots or cover his near post. Cost us so many goals that year.

  7. Injuries have fucked him, but even before that he didn't press opposition defenders the way Firmino does or Suarez did. With them two it's like irrelevant if they have the ball or not when they're dribbling, if they lose it they never take their eye off it and the dribble becomes the press without even breaking stride. (Imagine what Klopp could have done with Suarez).

It's a bit of a negative mark against Klopp if he can only get performances out of strikers who close down loads. Pretty fucking limiting in terms of who we could bring in, not many strikers are that great at it.

  8. Injuries really cost us there. Can and Coutinho took some time to settle into those midfield roles, Can in particular was ponderous as fuck in possession when we're all about passing it forward quickly these days. Sturridge just doesn't offer the same work rate Firmino does. Maybe he's too fucked after too many injuries.

Obviously watched it on a blag stream on Kodi, am I fuck watching Sky wank themselves into a frenzy over Mourinho and the assorted Manc hangers-on they have in the studio. Is there a more shithousey job for an ex-footballer than a pundit? Doesn't matter if you're talking shite 100% of the time, no-one's ever going to pull you up on it. No skin in the game.
