Or choose a mute woman instead.
Agreed.

I split up with the missus in 2022 & moved into my own flat, apart from missing the kids during the week, it is bliss. I usually listen to loud music until about 8pm, then watch a film or a couple of episodes of something for 2hrs & finish up with a couple of quiet albums before going to my scratcher.
The only problem is I don't have anyone to tell me off about going to the pub so I'll quite often end up in there on a Tuesday night for no good reason.
I don't think I could live with a woman again. They just nag constantly & ruin your fucking life.

These manc bastards were insufferable for nigh on 20 years as they won the fucking lot.
Even before that they were the media darlings - i was watching an old youtube video today of a game at Anfield against them in the 88/89 season and the presenter at start said "Despite all Liverpool's success it is still Utd that are the glamour club" and he seemed to revel in saying that they "hadn't lost in league at Anfield since 1979"
Of course throughout the 80's we called the rat bastards the glams because they had the media fawning over them like that.
Now they still act like it is a national disaster when the useless gets lose yet another game and the coverage is all about them...
Their demise is wonderful and long, long may it continue - the fucking horrible manc bastards.
I hope every single one of the rats who follow them and the pricks in the media who fawn over them have to suffer a long, long lasting demise that the current level of shiteness they are at is just the tip of the iceberg.
Cunts.
What he said.

It's early days so I'm not saying that's it for Slot, there's a long way to go. I just think we are in a false place and we should maybe reign expectations in before they hit us hard and people over react.
If he has a decent run in Europe & gets top four this season, he'll be doing absolutely fine in my book.
Anyone expecting him to win the league needs to lay off the glue.

Because I think it's a poor argument that somebody allegedly so poor is a regular in a world class football team. You'd think he played in a division 5 Sunday pub team on here.
It's all about perspective though, he's been generally poor playing in a top level team. We're discussing Champions League & Premier League Football here, it's not The Marine Way.
Better tonight anyway, long may it continue.

The first 20 minutes and the two goals were great, the rest was a bit of a snooze-fest.
Happy with the win but I can't help but worry about that tough run we have coming up, the results look like they're papering over a few cracks to me. We'll see soon enough I suppose.

The literally war has been lost. It’s over. We lost along with I’m like” ” instead of “said”. You’re the language equivalent of one if those Japanese fighters carrying on fighting in 1946. Give up. Literally has gone from the volcabulary.
Never.

My niece says candy instead of sweets, sidewalk instead of pavement, all thanks to YouTube.
She's from Widnes.
Much the same with my pair, diapers, trash & a 'tie', as opposed to a draw in sport.
I'm a right cantankerous bastard though & pull them up for everything. Every time they say 'literally' (which is about once per sentence), I point out that it was completely superfluous.
I'm pretty sure all that literally nonsense started with Friends.

Garnacho fan club in here this evening.

Garnacho is already a very good player, and being only 20 he could develop into a world class one in a few years. That would require however that he’s got the mentality to take the next steps, and not least the right environment for development. The beaty of the whole thing is that the standard of the players they get in isn’t the problem. If it was it would’ve been fixed years ago.
Is he already very good though?
Every time I watch the cunts, he's brutal.
-
That Garnacho cunt is absolutely shite. I pointed this out to a manc mate last week as well and he wouldn't have it, which left me bamboozled.

If we are winning then I don't give a fuck. Players play a role they are asked to do by their managers and coaches so being regularly selected means Slobbo is doing it well enough for them. Eleven players rarely all play well but others compensate for lower par performances as that is why its a team game. He's doing ok for the coaches and manager so that's fine by me.
If you don't give a fuck how he's playing, why spend time on his thread on a Football forum?
The whole point of this thread is to discuss how he played & how we think he might play in the future. This bloke cost over £60m & has been average for 12 months now so people are going to discuss that on here, regardless if the team wins or not.
As Barry has pointed out, we won't be playing Nottingham Forest or Wolves every week, which is a concern for those of us who look beyond the 'Manager knows best' landfill you are posting.

Possibly but who cares, I mean - look at them.

Journey's first three albums are ok. After that they became stadium rock, AM radio, MTV dreck.
I like Slade, especially their early, violin heavy stuff.
Very odd bands to compare though as they're nothing alike. What next, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band vs Suede?

Brilliant, Stig. I fucking love The Faces (& Rod's early solo stuff).
Their albums could be a wee bit patchy but they made up for it in pure spirit.

He's so shit that he's being chosen regularly by managers of one of the top teams in Europe who are top of their own league and a coaching staff with scientific equipment and data coming out of their backsides. But I'll side with random people on the internet.
You don't need a fucking Bunsen burner, you just need eyes to see he's not playing particularly well.
The reason the manager is picking him is because he was given jack shit to improve his squad with over the summer & Jones/Elliott have been injured. Long story short, there are no other real options.
