So players can control the ball with their arm in the penalty box now? Okay.

Everton will be lucky to score nil goals here.

The way footballers scream and swear at the officials is disgusting.

So many punchable faces in that Everton team.

Uncle Uzzy will be fuming about that political display. He's probably watching Hesgoal on his yacht, choking on his caviar and the ashes of his enemies, barking at his lackies to get Moshiri on the phone.

Everton fourth from bottom. That bottom 7 scrap is very entertaining.

I'm not having that first half performance, we got lucky and we were sloppy as fuck at times. City might have scored three if we played them like that.
Mane penalty shouldn't have been given either.
Amazing how narratives change based on the final score, that wasn't a vintage performance by any stretch.
In his post match press conference Klopp said we weren't great for the first 15 minutes - we'd only had one session to prepare for Leeds, they play in a unique way and it was too hectic. But after that was much better. Pretty much what happened?

Haven't listened to it yet, but is there anymore On the Buses chat? The actress who played Olive died this week in a house fire.
I mean, I'm not blaming this podcast, but it does seem a bit coincidental...

When are Bamford and Phillips due back for Leeds? They need them back for a fighting chance of staying up (and condemning Everton through the trap door).
-
I thought they were waiting for the return of Dominic Calvert Lewin and their fortunes would change? That was about 4 months ago.

You don’t need to churn out propaganda after a bad result but we are churning out propaganda after a bad result. The BS Goebbels here!

"The year 2022 should be a truly momentous one for Everton..."
GOOD - relegation battle
BETTER - relegation
BEST - relegation and going bust.

Agree about right back - would like to see Milner there again. Unless he hasn't got the legs anymore?

This is impressive whichever way you look at it.
Pretty impressive, but they want to see me reverse park into a parking space at Speke Retail on a Saturday afternoon, it'll blow their socks off.

Love it. One of my favourite shows. Rewatched it not long ago, and still stands up.

I never had an Amiga, so I played on my mate’s, which he used to share with his brother. They sold it and bought a SNES console each.
A Snes each! Bloody hell.
I had a Speccy 48k, which we sold to get the 128k. Sold the 128k to get a nes. Sold the NES to get a SNES. Sold the SNES to get a PlayStation 1. Sold the 1 to get a PS2. It was always sell to buy for us. And then I pretty much stop playing games for about ten years.

I think I paid £60 for that when it came out.
I remember buying Star Wars on the NES for £50 back in...1991? 1992? It seemed an astronomical amount of money (certainly for a 12 year old).
Completed it though. Without saves or passwords, just playing it from start to finish.
I've tried playing it since and I can barely get through he first few screens - fucking impossible.

The genius behind Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy was Matthew Smith. He was later living over here in a squat, doing a load of psychedelics and working in the same place as a load of Spiral Tribe after they did a runner after Castlemorton and the draconian laws that followed. Maddest place I've ever worked like.
There was an interview with him in Retro Gamer magazine (subscriber here!) a year or so ago, and he came across as ....I think eccentric is the polite way of putting it.

7 wins out of 7 champions League games, beating both AC and Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid, 54 points in the league after 24 games, in four competitions in the middle of February - but there's barely any recognition from pundits about how good we are. They fawn over Man City (without mentioning the money doping) - but us? Silence. Does anyone else think it's weird?

Article detailing many of Liverpool’s lost great buildings, including the Custom House and Sailors Home.

Can't read that, too depressing. Some of the buildings lost is tragic.
*Shakes head* Everton again.
