I've just started the Pet Shop Boys , the fucks going on?
It's like a Sunday night at Garlands on an epic scale.

Without a proper backing band, this is just Neil Tennant doing karaoke. It’s good but it’s not a live performance for me. He’s being auto tuned as well.
Loads of acts are autotuned now. I don't think Billie Eilish sang a note!
The beginning literally was karaoke - they've obviously had some technical fuck up!

Haha, that was excellent. Pet Shop Boys with the dramatics - should have guessed.

I think there's some kind of technical issue.
Have they tried turning him off and on again?

Looks like Chris Lowe has swerved the Pet Shop Boys to go and watch Kendrick Lamar.
Yeah what's going on? Tennant is doing well solo, for now!

Been looking forward to the Bicep set. Pity Overmono wasnt broadcast.
I've spent half my weekend flicking through the various channels missing acts I've wanted to watch. The BBC coverage has been all over the place. Finding what you want has been a challenge.

Just catching up on some bits I missed, seen Lily Allen looking surprisingly fit during her guest appearance for Oliva Rodrigo.
Lily Allen's voice was ropey as fuck. Though I spent most of it looking at Rodrigo, what a fine specimen.

At the next general election the Tories will ban anyone from voting against the Conservatives, I'm pretty sure. The Daily Mail will blame Labour. Mick Lynch and other union leaders will be sent to a re-education camp in Rwanda. We'll be told to get over it.

Yeah, in the end that was an all time headliner set, notwithstanding his age.
How do you top that in 2023 for the Sat night?
Springsteen will have another go. It's right in the middle of his European tour.

Well, that was fucking great.

What's up with the crowd?

He’ll get Grohl on, but he’ll leave the Frog Chorus waiting by the phone? Poor form.
Don't wanna spoil it, but if you like Dave Grohl and the Frog Chorus you're in for a treat.

This is difficult.
Bon Jovi would have ripped the tits off it.
And after their three decent songs then what?
Billie Eilish basically stuck her albums on loud, did a bit of emceeing and set off fireworks. Glasto has been disappointing overall. Maybe it's just me. Or maybe it's the state of the music scene. Or maybe Covid. Or maybe something else.
Anyway, Macca has been good, IMO.

The midwhich cuckoos
Can't decide if it was very silly or very shit but it had keely hawes in,so that gives it 2 extra marks.
Thought the end was quite rushed but worth a watch.
7/10.
It WAS very silly and Max Beesley couldn't act if a gun was pointed at his children - but it was entertaining enough I thought. Ridiculous, but anything with creepy demon children in is always worth a watch.

I've no stake in Noel Gallagher or his high flying birds either way, but he's got zero stage presence. Especially compared to a certain other Gallagher.
Why was that woman playing a pair of scissors?

Not showing Macca until 10.30pm????
Outrageous, I've only just seen this. Never known a headline act to be on this much later (on TV)? But then I don't watch it every year.

They had some major fuck up at the start, was basically Tennant singing along to a CD. Not the first technical fuck up at Glasto this weekend.
