I booked an NHS check up today - December 21st. That was the earliest they could do. If I wanted a private appointment there were loads next week. 

The system is a money-sucking shambles. 

Sunak pretending that he's had nothing to do with the economy for the past few years even though he was the chancellor. 

Looks like he's finished now anyway. Prick.

I don't remember a time in my lifetime where basic services weren't available, like you literally couldn't access stuff like dentistry or a GP or a copper would never turn up. 

 

I broke two teeth a few weeks ago on either side of my mouth and they didn't have a dental appointment until the end of this month, fortunately I got a cancellation.

 

I went to the doctor's yesterday and they sent me to a nurse.

The ones voting the Tories are all in Bupa, or various private schemes. 

Tooth problems are worse these days because as well as the physical grief, it also costs a fortune. It's just another scam by corporations to squeeze as much money out of people as possible.

It's basically Everton's trophy. 

They've been using Jerusalem at the Commonwealth games and it sounds good. Personally, I would prefer Land of Hope and Glory, if pushed. 

Also, after two weeks in Northern Ireland I'm amazed how much they worship the Queen. Fucking posters of her everywhere. Tried to explain to her family that the Royal Family wouldn't piss on Northern Ireland if it was on fire. 

Had an argument with the mother in law. According to her all these train drivers are on £80,000 and we shouldn't be giving them any more money. I said it wasn't just the drivers but other staff like track engineers, station operations, and maybe if normal workers have decided that their only course of action is strike then maybe we should believe them, and not the shareholders who are taking in £millions of profit.

She doesn't even get the fucking train. She retired early on a nice early 2000s pension after coining it during the property boom. Tory.

Also, I don't know how much train drivers earn, but considering they're responsible for the safety of thousands of people every day then maybe they deserve an appropriate wage.

Got an email from our dentist saying they're no longer NHS, they're now private Hampton Dental Care. All the prices have doubled. This is an "affordable alternative to NHS treatment". They also now offer 0% finance.

I'm a long time fan. Seen him live plenty of times. Have a ticket for Amsterdam next year. But this has been an utter cluster fuck. I never ever though the Boss would go down in my estimation, but he's sinking fast here.

The whole ticketing system is - like seemingly everything else in the 21st century - just a method to squeeze as much money as possible out of ordinary people into the pockets of shareholders. I just never thought Bruce would be one of those involved in the squeezing - as one commentator said, he's not totally to blame but it's his name on the  ticket. 

What happens when tens of thousands of homes can't/refuse to pay £500 a month? 

I'm sure the government have this all in hand.

Inhalers. That's all I hear from the ones I know. They've said it so often they now actually believe it's true. 

38 degrees according to my car temperature gauge. I've had to apply factor 10, I'm usually a factor 4 oil type of guy.
