Mig is the best of a bad bunch. Jones is a nice lad but he's a League 1 calibre player. It's absolutely crazy that he's first choice at Liverpool now. That stat about him conceding 5 goals vs 8 attempts sums him up and is no surprise. Mig needs to return to goal before we hopefully buy a better 'keeper in January.

Does anyone expect us to get something from this game now? 

Might as well not bother with a 'keeper than have Jones. Absolutely pointless since he never makes a save. Rodgers has totally fucked up on the 'keeper situation.

We'll have an advantage in that we'll have 11 vs 10 players when not including goalies.

Nope. To spend £100M+ and to just have Sturridge to reply on us playing well is a terrible strategy and has ruined our season.

The only positive is that when Sturridge is back he'll finish some of these chances we missed. We'll only get better once he's back, might be too late for Brendan by then.

I can't stomach these shite performances. In Brendan's first season we lost a few times but played well in those defeats and the potential was clear to see. Now we are losing whilst playing shite. We win some playing shite too - apparently that's a good sign. Bullshit. Our performances have been diabolical and that's completely down to the manager.

Brendan took all the plaudits last season and now he has to take the flak too. He has not been good enough and needs to sort this mess out, otherwise make way for someone who can turn us around.

The most depressing Champions League campaign in our history. And it was a mediocre group barring Madrid. 

It should not have been about tonight. Brendan's appalling surrender at the Bernabeu tells you how much priority he put into this competition. For a Liverpool manager not to take the European Cup seriously is shocking. 

I was really sold on Rodgers but this European campaign has been disgraceful by our standards and our league form and the manager's inability to turn it around despite having better resources than most is startling. I think Rodgers is on borrowed time and if he does get chopped, he can't have many excuses.

Think he might be gone if we lose next week. He's been totally clueless this season and has been found out after Sturridge got injured (and Suarez left).

Took us until the 80th minute for us to start playing. Way too late by then. Now we have the Europa League to look forward to. Hurrah.

Henderson is a shadow of the player he was last year. Gone back to being pointless IMO.
