A great result against a strong Spurs team, especially considering we had Lucas and Sterling out and they had their full strength team.

Sturridge did okay although he does look noticeably slower. Hopefully that's just due to lack of match fitness. Ibe did well too, a great alternative to have to Sterling.

Mignolet was excellent, quite an amazing turnaround in form for him. Lots of positives to take from that game, only concern being how do we replace Lucas who might not be everyone's cup of tea but does a good job in protecting the defence.

I'm glad he's staying. If Sturridge is not fit then we are fucked if we need to rely on Borini or worse, Balotelli. Lambert is easily the better option and will work his bollocks off in every match and will score goals when given opportunities.

Don't like Novak but he's a hell of a player. Demolished Murray in those final 2 sets. 

That lad Adams has scored twice for Sheff United to bring them back into the tie. He's been highly rated for a while now and Premiership clubs were after him too. He's going to be a top player.

Harsh comments here. Apart from that terrible miss, I thought he had a fine game and is only going to get better.

Brendan is just a Daniel Sturridge away from having a good season. He can be criticised for failing to deal with Sturridge's absence, he fucked up there but I think he'll learn from that. Assuming Sturridge returns and remains fit until the end of the season, I think Brendan is capable of steering us to a top 4 finish, which would be a miracle considering the way we started the season. 

A really good performance, deserved the win. Play like that with Sturridge in the team and we'd easily have won that game. Promising signs of late, we could be in for a more enjoyable second half of the season.
