I wish we (the West) would just get the fuck out of the Middle East. Our mere military presence is enough to drive these nutcases to terror attacks. And taking part in the conflicts there, whether that's troop involvement, air bombings, drone attacks etc. will guarantee terrorist attacks against Western countries. Just leave that entire region and let the Arabs slaughter themselves if that's what they want. Our dependence on Middle Eastern oil has resulted in these foreign policies that gets us involved in various conflicts there. We need to leave them alone, and hopefully they'll leave us alone and kill each other instead. But we can't leave them alone and haven't been able to stop intervening in the Middle East since WW1.

Spectre - one of the dumbest Bond movies ever. Ludicrous plot, rubbish villain, diabolical opening soundtrack. Hopefully this will be the last Bond movie involving Daniel Craig. Some decent action which is to be expected and Batista was at his best in this movie - he didn't speak a single line, which probably helped.

It's not impossible especially with Chelsea being out of the picture for the meantime at least but I think City, United, Spurs and Arsenal look the most likely to finish in the top 4. We don't have a squad as good as those 4 or Chelsea's, and we are cursed with never ending injuries, especially to key players.
-
I'm not too deflated by the defeat. More concerned with yet another injury to add to the list. Sakho had been playing well and his absence means a return for Lovren, which is a scary prospect. Henderson and Sturridge can't return soon enough, and hopefully Milner and Sakho aren't out for long.
-
Fucking bogey team. Fuck off Palace.
-
We've played well since they scored. We've had chances and can win this. Keep it up lads. Can and Moreno need to concentrate. They both can be good players but are so brainless at times.
-
Ibe has been excellent when he's had the ball.
-
Yeaaasssss! Get in Coutinho.
-
Oh no, Lovren on now. Hope it's not a serious injury for Sakho. That's the last thing we need.
-
Great, looks like Sakho is injured. Wouldn't have been involved had Can looked up and passed, just kept hold of it for too long. This ain't German fotball mate, you don't have long to hold onto the ball when you're near the opposition box.
-
Shit defending. Palace doing us again.

LVG taking some flack tonight. Loads of boos for taking off Martial for Fellaini, cries of attack, attack, attack. And now "we're Man Utd, we want to attack."
Hopefully the stubborn Dutchman carries on beimg stubborn and Dutch.
Fellaini will probably end up scoring or flicking on a route one goal.

City looking really good, winning 3-1 away to Sevilla even without Silva, Aguero, and De Bruyne.
Sterling having a great game. Cunt.

What's wrong with our strikers? 3 of the useful ones are all injured leaving us with the hapless Origi. Have to feel for Jurgen here, he's not going to get us up and running if he doesn't have any fit strikers to call on.
-
I think we'll improve considerably once Henderson is back. Coutinho and our attackers will be the better for it too.

You don't need to cut £12BN from welfare. To take money from citizens is cruel and typical of the Tories. We could reclaim £12BN by stopping tax evasion, making the super rich and corporations pay their fair share rather than claim we're powerless to stop them from funnelling their cash overseas or using legal loopholes to avoid paying the tax they're due. Root out tax and benefit fraud and we'll easily reclaim the £12BN the Tories want to take from low income families.

I hope he gets the sack. It would really wound his pride to be fired twice by his beloved Chelsea.
-
Gossip on the Beeb is that if we beat them, he's going to get the sack. What better motivation could there be.
I think Chelsea could field their under 15's and we still wouldn't win at Stamford Bridge. We just shit ourselves over there.

I miss Suarez.
-
Hard to judge him fairly in the current, rather average team. But he looks very raw. Pace and skill but finishing is suspect, as is positioning, runs etc.
He's 4th choice striker and it shows.
-
We'll get better when Henderson and Sturridge are back. Jury's out on how much Firmino and Benteke will improve us. But we still need some quality signings in the summer if we want to challenge for a top 4 place next season.
-
With the injury problems we have up front he would at least give us another option, even if it isn't the best. Right now it's impossible to say how fit and injury-free Benteke and Sturridge will be in the new year so would be worth having Markovic around.
-
Excellent player, one of my favourites when growing up. Newcastle would probably have won the title in '96 had they not messed him around to accommodate Asprilla. And Souness ballsed up when he let him go.

Any brilliant conspiracy theorist tell us what's really happening in the Middle East? A Shia-Russian alliance vs Sunni-NATO involving Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Yemen. Despite all the claims of wanting them gone, no one is really doing anything about ISIS. Syria and Iraq carved to pieces, refugee crisis from these lands causing chaos to the EU, a new Intifada seems to be starting in the Palestinian territories. Revolutions and insurgencies that have toppled or destabalised despots who were previously untouchable. Is this chaos in the Middle East being orchestrated? Or are these events all coincidental? The truth is out there.

Britain has stepped up its bombing of ISIS, which means we've become more of a target for these lunatics. It's not cowardly to say we should not be involved militarily in the conflict with ISIS. Our interference in the Middle East has helped to bring about this group and the mess in Syria/Iraq and we should get out of that region since our meddling does nothing but cause further problems down the line. Let's just get the hell out of that region and let the Arabs and Turks deal with the problem. Russia too, since they are so eager. Let's just stick to providing economic and diplomatic aid to whoever the good guys are over there. Sooner or later the Syria/Iraq conflict will spill over into Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey and those countries will need to deal with the problem.
