Two bad knockouts for Volk in a row now, would have no problem with him retiring given his age and what he's achieved.
Ian Garry reminds me of Till with his point fighting style, don't see him becoming champ.
He's more well rounded than Till, but agreed on not seeing him become a champion. He's a skilful striker, but doesn't seem to have much power.

Topuria is the real deal. Gutted to see Volk be knocked out like that, but the featherweight division needed that tbh.

Chelsea have lost all their threat since Palmer went off. Nice one, Poch, ye big loser.

It's very frustrating that Klopp has been objectively brilliant at rotating this season, but we are still getting injuries repeatedly. We are always down a few, and then when those return, we proceed to lose another few in their place.
We have been cursed with a few freak injuries on top of that: Matip for the season; Mac Allister for a month; and now it looks like Jota for potentially the whole season. We need City and Arsenal to get injuries to their key players to balance the scales in our favour if we are going to do it.
-
Arsenal might as well be playing the Craggy Island over 75s today, Burnley have no chance of getting anything.
Best we can hope for is an injury to Rice, Gabriel or Saliba. If they lose any one of those for an extended period, they'll fold like a pack of cards. Just like last season.

Reminds me of the games with Dyche's Burnley.
Kick the fuck out of our players, fall over at the faintest touch to get a free kick while cunt commentators laud the plucky underdog.

Guess he had just the right amount of thinking time there.

Terrible performance and we're level, have to go on and win this now.
Robbo on for Trent, put Gomez at right back, put Nunez on for Gravenberch.

Absolute gift!

Had no idea Chelsea were playing until I saw the posts on here. They're losing at home again.
Delighted to see their gradual slide back into their pre-oligarch mediocrity. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving set of bastards.

Neto and Cunha are high level players. If we hadn't bought Gakpo, Cunha would likely be on our radar. Neto, depends what a new manager wants.
Cunha is a good player, carries the ball really well. He makes Darwin look like Van Nistelrooy though.

‘And Maddison says to Richarlison… ’Just hit that, will ye?’’Textbook co-commentator artistic licence from him there too.
Thought he was shite on Wednesday, kept screeching about the penalty shouts for Chelsea, especially annoying when the first was never a penalty.
"There's contact for me there, Fletch."
Yeah, because Gallagher ran into Van Dijk. Fool.
-
Richarlison curls one in from 25 yards and McCoist is wanking Maddison off over a basic piece of skill and a toe poke pass any pub footballer could pull off.
"The finish is equal if not better."
Wut?

The Tyrone Cafu!

Mac Allister putting in as good a midfield performance as you're ever going to see.
Conor Bradley is the real deal.

I won't say it feels like a death in the family as I'm all too familiar with that feeling and saying it about a man I've never met is a bit too melodramatic (for me, other people are entitled to their own feeling).
It does, however, feel like a really good mate moving away and knowing he is never coming back. Can't help but think about all those special moments (Dortmund, Barcelona, no. 6, no. 19, battering United repeatedly, beating Everton in the cup with a team of children haha) and feeling things will never have that same magic again, no matter who comes in. As has been said, you can replace the coach, but you can never replace the man.
Love the man to bits and hope he can find the rest and normalcy he is looking for. No one deserves it more.

Neg all you like, but because of profligate finishing and stepping off the gas we were a brainfart away from extra time.

Hinchcliffe isn't it
It said Don Goodman at the start. He does sound bitter enough to be Hinchcliffe though.

Co-commentator sounds gutted. Who is it?
Don Goodman
Whoever the fuck he is

We were never going to sign anybody.
If Abu Dhabi don't splash out to beef up their thin-ish squad, that's the best we could have hoped for from this window.
Darwin Nunez - Thoughts?

The contrast had me in stitches. It's too good.
