    Considering the type of players that we are signing/targeting, we are definitely not aiming for the league title next season ... Players like Henderson, Adam and Downing would help us beat Arsenal and Tottenham to the 4th spot, but that is as far as we could go with them ... Hopefully, once we are back in the Champions League, we could attract some real top class players that would help us overtake the Mancs, Chelsea and City ...

    Generalization at it's best ... Downing is certainly a better player at the moment, but he has not performed on a consistent level over the past 6 seasons ... In fact, he was very poor in his last season at 'Boro (2008/09), when they got relegated ... Bentley has disappeared at Tottenham, but he was very good for 3 seasons at Blackburn ... In fact, Bentley's last season at Blackburn (2007/08.) was better than anything that Downing has shown in the PL so far ...
