Things started going wrong when it was clear the yanks and parry were bullshitting him and pretending to go for players. Then Parry dithered over Silva and Villa and insisted they sign that twat Keane instead. Then asset stripping really got underway. Finally they said "Rafa u can sell xabi, have then money and 45/ 50m more". Ofcourse, it was a pack of lies. Rafa got 7th, but the Fulham muppet gets us in a relegation battle Numero Nueve Sure Henry came over like a "quiet dignified guy", tho devoid of any undertakings. Pt is, him and NESV exist to make money, and they had no prior interest in football. I don't see where the footballing pride has suddenly come from with them. Comolli wants to keep his job, so that means a lackey manager who doesn't decide transfers. Purlow, + their advisors at Inner Circle etc see football fans as mugs, captive customers who can be sold a brand, regardless of whether the team gets anywhere near silverware. They've clearly thrown in the towel on a top 4 or maybe even top 7 place. Why is that?

    But there really isn't anyone as good. Either in footballing or fan/ city link terms. Plus he's the only man who can wave the magic wand with the remnants of what he built over 5 yrs. Mourinho and the like have no link with us. And they would want to change absolutely everything ( mainly as an insurance policy against their failure). I suspect perhaps we could not attract another top manager. So that would mean yrs in the doldrums with a hyped up also ran.. The parasites who see football as a business have shifted the debate. The big lie that Rafa wasnt good enough. The big lie that Hodgson was any good. Then they'll try a big lie again. NESV will be advised to get a lapdog who will sell stars. And Sky etc will try and brainwash us "what a great manager Owen Coyle is " / some unknown German. NESV know nothing about football. Only about making profits. So they can't question rafa's successes( nor indeed can anyone else). If they're listening to Purslow and Inner Circle and Comolli things will go badly wrong. Because those people will only look after their own interests, not ours.

    Yes he was sacked so Hicks and Gilette could continue to cheat the fans out of their money. 2 European Cup finals, and magnifient record against bigger spenders. Not to mention a wonderful link and mutual respect with the fans. If he isn't reinstated I think we can deduce what NESV are all about.

    Every time Rafa spent reasonable money he got a GREAT player. Reina, Alonso , Masch, Agger, Nando. Are these shit? If he has to spend 8 or 10m he cant be expected to pick a superstar every time. Look how the others wasted big money - Veron, Berbatov, Schevchenko etc etc. They dont get slagged. Because they don't shop the crooks mafia that own too many clubs.

    It puzzles me. We saw the equivalent of Souness, lawreson, dalglish and paisley being booted out and the cash trousered by scum. Imagine if that had happened in the early 80s? Would the fans have said " that bob paisley was an idiot, he'd just mumble and never won us an FA Cup after his last Euro Cup win in 1981"? Ofcourse not. So why are SOME of the modern fans utterly brainwashed by the gutter press against Rafa? Maybe because of the undercover lie and smear campaigns by Purslow and co?

    They make me laugh. I remember them spouting the "liverpool way" about supporting Hodgson 100%., and threatening bans all the way. And then they write Henry a letter begging him to sack him.. :lol:

    In football, there's the people we know about. Then there's the "shadow people" who advise, make decisions etc. The Purslows, Comollis, Inner Circle Sports, Werner etc etc. NESV were advised by the same monkeys as G&H. They aren't stupid. Its just to them, the football isn't overly relevant. Its all about asset values, marketing etc etc. Whats best for us is Rafa, by a MILLION MILES. Maybe they just don't care about us, or the football side. Maybe they want another monkey of the "sell players to profit" variety?

    I remember the Juninho and Ravanelli and Emerson Mboro team. 2 cup finals. They were absolutely fantastic... in a way. And relegated they were. There was a moderately star filled West Ham team that was relegated too. And lets not forget Newcastle.. Rafa's squad was raped by the Yanks. And he still got us 7th. But Captain Fuckwit ( aka Scandianavia's .. cough .. "finest") is killing us quicker than Ebola could. Good squads DO get relegated. The team is in meltdown thanks to him, Purslow, NESV etc

    If there are termination issues, why didn't they just have Rafa as D of Football. And let the players know the score. And let Rafa rebuild with the money that G&H tried to steal from us. And just supposing they had done this, its clear morale is in the bin, because all the players see is a village idiot as our manager for an indeterminate amt of time. Comolli is a bloody nobody. Hodgson is worse than a nobody. NESV arrived in Oct, and all they've done is aborted the whole season. They "know nothing about football". So what the hell are they doing here...? I bet they weren't so slow on the due dilligence for the takeover...

    Exactly, if I was Nando or Pepe ( or Xabi, Masch - both great players we were robbed of), I'd be disgusted at the parochial claptrap we get fed by Sky& Co. I worry we could be heading back to the Dark Ages of Roy Evans type setups.

    Souness had a fat mouth and a "talent" for being obnoxious. Off field we were a joke but we're obsessed with profitmaking, and financial constraints hit him too. But we always KNEW Hodgson was a joke. This NESV lot, I really don't feel comfortable about them. One bit. Worst of all, the myths and propaganda seem to be rubbing off on some of the fans. The idea it would take" years" to rebuild. And the idea that Kenny or Carra are viable lterm managers. And staggeringly, the claim that Rafa ISN'T. Its a sad day when a Liverpool managerial legend is potentially struck off the list because he's prepared to tell the fans the truth about chairmen.

    Well this is my 1st post here. I wish it could be more positive. But Hodgson, from the moment he was linked, has utterly appalled me. Rafa's actually back on Merseyside and we've STILL got Hicks&Gilette's asset stripping lapdog. SO NESV can say "ahh we couldn't buy any players because we had a crap manager in Jan". What are they gonna say in May? "Oh we'll get a good manager in June or July, but we couldn't prepare for transfers til then". A decent manager when NESV took over, and we could have atleast challenged for 4th. Sure, the season's crap, and Hodgson is nauseating beyond belief. But I just feel really saddened beyond this. NESV bought us for round about the price of 3 Real Madrid galacticos. Maybe they just think " lets sit back and profit from the TV money and the mugs that go every week". Where the hell is their pride in the FOOTBALL CLUB?
