Don't mind any of them but they'd spend all evening talking about the places they'd been and the laughs they'd had and I'd feel left out.

I do sometimes have an issue with the Anfield atmosphere but the crowd were fantastic in the 2nd half, a major contributory factor in the win.

Shouldn't have, but loved it. 

Why do gangsters have to fucking whisper all the time, drive black 4x4's and wear black clothes? There were 2 awful wooden performances, Anna, Mikey's daughter and Nikki, Vikings fit girlfriend. Jimmy looked like he worked in a hairdressers.

All that said, I loved it, the storylines and the way it was filmed. The character of Bren was brilliantly written and acted, totally mad but believable. Eamon was good too.

Was talking to an old boy the other day about Duncan Edwards. He's a Birmingham City fan, so no real bias, and he reckons if Edwards had survived Bobby Moore wouldn't have been England captain, the lad was phenomenal.

Surfing seems a bit of a middle class thing. I don't really get it.

Seems to me its mainly blokes pretending to be seals. They dress up in tight black wetsuits and then go out with their board and bob up and down in the sea for about an hour ignoring the waves washing over them. I go to Porthleven quite often and you can often see about 100 of them out there, probably praying an actual surfable wave doesn't show up.
