Welcome to the new and improved TLW!

Some of you may experience issues logging in and will get an 'incorrect password' error. Don't worry, you haven't typed it in wrong and your password hasn't been changed. You will need to reset it though in order to log in. Click the reset password link and you will receive an email with your new temporary password. Once logged in, you need to choose a new password (or restore to your old one) otherwise you will be locked out again.

If you have an out of date email address linked to your account, then you won't receive the new password. If that's the case then you'll need to email me (dave @liverpoolway.co.uk) or send me a tweet @theliverpoolway and I'll update your password manually.

Any other problems or questions just let me know.

  1. Stowie

    Liverpool 2 Tottenham 2 (Feb 4 2018)

A player in an offside position is only penalised if, at the moment the ball touches or is played by one of his team, he is, in the opinion of the referee, involved in active play by: • interfering with play or • interfering with an opponent or • gaining an advantage by being in that position The above is an extract from the latest rules from the FIFA Website, that fuck head was definitely gaining an advantage so even though there may have been a touch from Lovren, he was offside at the moment the ball was played, there is nothing else in the rules about offside that back up the crap those knobs were going on with
  2. Great Interview, thanks for posting it, sat down and relived Istanbul again after reading it and it was even better to watch knowing Carras perspective from the interview. Great Stuff - can't wait to see the boys when they play in Melbourne.
  3. When I first saw this on TV I though that he had been mentally committed to the near post and was wrong footed which is how it looked. However looking at the shots above he was in perfect near post position and as such should of only been expecting a far post shot which is even more surprising that he was so flat footed. The shot had some steam on it but he should of shown better anticipation though. He has made some good saves in his recent games and had been showing some good form, but he is an international keeper playing at the highest level, we should expect better. The neutrals would of loved this game and overall I did, a win would of been a great tonic to all after the weekend. Great report as always Dave
