You could see the way the squad developed from 2005, to the 2006 squad mentioned above to the team that came second in 2008-09. The manager then had a plan, not every transfer came off but a damn sigh more than does now before C&A really fecked things up.

They have never won a cup in this period either so its celebrating mediocrity indeed.
Is that what they try to tell us their net spend was in each season?

Wouldn't it be great if Rafa was like a cheat manager on FM, he starts bidding £40 mil for Downing, £60 mil for Carrol etc or offering Mata in a swap deal for Cole
-
When he was in Garlands, was it leavemyarcelona?

If everyone rejects us....does that mean we then re-instate Kenny? More realistically it would probably lead to Rafa coming back.
Not while there's Bruce, Curbishley, Keane & McCarthy still without a club.

I was let down the other night, Jan was on 5Live commentating on Wolves V Arsenal and Rambo admitted to being an Arsenal fan, he started supporting them after the 71 cup final. I was gutted!

God created Adam and Eve.........Not Adam and Steve

I'm really disappointed on this. I thought we would have at least made a decision on this by now. I'm starting to get a bit twitchy on this. We need to make a decision asap as we are loosing out on a two weekly basis on a basic revenue stream against both manc teams, Arsenal & even Newcastle. We need to sort it out NOW!

I can't wait, my youngest is a bit miffed that it's rated 18 though

How about Randy Bumgardner - or has that already been done?

But that was because someone came into Maureen's office and left the place all Messi! (I'll get my coat!)
-
I've heard he's on his way to Inter Milan to take over running their typing pool from a girl called Maureen who's been offered a job in Spain.

Never mind all of this, think of the poor Newcastle fans and their feelings this weekend

Signing Barton would be worse than when we were going to sign Bowyer from Leeds - No Thanks!
-
He'd be useful as Pepe's understudy, play him in the League Cup next year and the early stages of the Europa League!

Don't let the neg hit your arse on the way out
It's Ok, I put suncream on my arse!

I came in to say because I forgot to put sun cream on my nose....

You're planning on stalking me aren't you? I expect chocolates under my pillow at the very least.
Ha! Wouldn't have been able to spot you as the number of cars with red Shell Island passes in was huge!
We stayed the other side of Harlech, just by the toll bridge into Portmadog. Hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did, first time in my life I've spent Easter Sunday on the beach!

I'm off to Harlech early tomorrow morning, just for 3 days back in work on Tuesday

BBC News - Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier in hospital
Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier in hospital
Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier has been admitted to hospital, the BBC understands.
It is thought he was taken to hospital in Birmingham during the night.
He is understood to have spoken to the club's chief executive Paul Faulkner and his condition is said to be comfortable.
Assistant manager Gary McAllister will take Thursday's training session. The club is expected to release an official statement later.
Houllier is expected to remain in hospital for a couple of days and it is anticipated McAllister will take charge of the team on Saturday for their game against Stoke at Villa Park.
Houllier had major surgery after a heart attack in 2001.
Hope it's nothing serious

If you go over in the summer, head out to the Hirschgarten out by Nymphenburg (tram 17 from the centre) the beer is great and the food stalls are really good too. Also if your ever over in Berchtesgarten they have their own Hofbrauhaus with the brewery literally attached to the side of it, the beer is fantastic and incredibly fresh.
