bit of a computer emptyhead,if it makes any sense i am using wmp and using cd-r,not cd-rw

Whenever i try to burn music onto a blank cd-r,i keep getting the message to insert disc,i have used a couple of different makes of disc,I was wondering if theres some kind of sensor in the machine thats not detecting theres one there,rest assured i am putting disc in appropriate drive,would appreciate any help

i downloaded a couple of cd,s from i tunes(somebody had bought me an i tunes voucher),if i so required could i copy it to either a disc or memory stick to use in my car,people tell me thats not allowed,would appreciate any comments,thanks

i know it should be relatively easy,but i would appreciate any help in moving my paid for music on i tunes onto windows media player.my aim then is to move it onto a memory stick which i am able to do from wmp but not i tunes.Better still if i can if i can do it direct from i tunes

I know as an employee I have an entitlement to so many weeks paid holiday per year ,do I have the right to insist that I can have at least two consecutive weeks.

I suppose deep down i know the answer to this question,but heres hoping,is it legal to copy music from you tube,convert it via an appropriate site and import it to your favourite mp3 player,would appreciate any views from those in the know
