    I was on XBOX Live playing FIFA 11 when I saved this lads penalty with Reina, he started to sing this song to me down the headset (He was a cockney but said he was a Liverpool fan) (To the theme of the Luis Garcia song) oh Pepe Reina, He is our saviour, a Spanish Scouser, we love him so, a world cup winner, penalty saver, oh please don't take our Reina away! I've not heard this sung at any of the home or away games i've been to since he's been at Liverpool and i've only missed a few, has anybody else heard this?

    Gary Cahill on an interview to Gillette Soccer Saturday signed off the interview with "Hopefully one day I will play for a top team" Young, home grown and talented would you like this sort of player at the club?

    This might have already been said but how on earth can we plan on implementing these wholesale changes with a manager like Roy Hodgson in charge, this is a man who has never looked at or invested in youth and feels players like Paul Konchesky deserve 4 year deals. All this makes me look towards Manuel Pellegrini, other than his spell at Real Madrid where the "Galacticos" where bought for him, I see him as the "Wenger Lite" he would rather buy a Colombian defensive midfielder for £800,000 who turns out to be amazing or sold for profit as opposed to buying an old over the hill player who was never that good anyway. Not mentioning any names of course.

    Ashamed to say it but I go to his Christmas party every year, usually to see Akon as he attends every year.     Maxi was free and is on around 60,000 a week. Johnson cost £14 Million and is on 149,000 a week, a vast difference. However we only paid 8 for Johnson Portsmouth owed us £9 million and without the signing on Johnson what are the chances we would have got that money :wallbutt:

    Look at it this way, Degan was given a £2 million signing on bonus because he was a "free" signing. Just because they don't have a club don't think there free it just means they can demand a nice chunk of money for the simple fact you’re not paying for them.
