Tbh I think that if we had played the whole 90 like we did the last 10 minutes, we would have won. We just seem to wait untill the last 10 minutes to go for it...

I still don't get why he didn't play Babel from the start instead of Kuyt tho. Babel looked dangerous when on, in comparison to KUyt, who was ineffective as usual. Also Babel isnt gonna play on Thursday(red card), so why not give him the full 90..

If Torres had been on the end of one of those Ngog chances, he would hav scored. Remeber Aston Villa and 2-0 Man UTd..He's a one chance on goal striker..Ngog isnt..At least if you want to bring Ngog on, bring him on for the useless Kuyt..

What was the deal with taking off Torres? If it had been him then he would hav buried at least one of Ngog chances. And why did BAbel only come on at the 70th minute when he's not gonna play on Thursday(suspended)? Whereas Kuyt played for 80 minutes as usual..

I think Benitez should take a leaf out of Barca's book. Barca defend by keeping the ball, we defend by chasing after the ball. We don't need a few grafters to defend, all we need is the team collectively pressurizing like Barca does..Hell even Messi pressures in that team..

I think that after Benitez let Alonso leave, the players were pissed off. Also, Benitez doing stuff like always playing certain players regardless of form(Kuyt) and dropping in form players without reason(Babel), and plainly being crap and managing the players..

Coz Benitez unsettled him. Even after he sold him tho, he could still have gotten a better replacement. Anyway, it's all water under the bridge, since now we're stuck with Aquilani, guess we can either play him, or sell him again like Keane. From what I've seen, he has abit of skill, but his fitness and handling by Benitez needs to improve.. On off topic tho, there's a website called RAWK(if you guys noe)..is registration banned there? Cause I seem unable to register for an account there..

Yeh at the end of the day I don't think Benitez should hav disturbed a settled team tho. And if he wanted to change the team style, he should have at least gotten decent players.

If we get fourth, Benitez might get another year, and the owners might still be here. I hope we don't get fourth, so that the owners will give up the club(due to club value dropping), and Benitez will be sacked too(due to underperforming). One of this. Getting fourth will just be paper over the cracks. Getting fifth will help us face our real problems and benefit us long term.

Tbh I think that if we could stand firm to increase the fee from 30 m to 35 m, than we could also hav included Sneijder as part of the deal. However, even if we couldnt hav Sneijder, Im sure there are and were better value-for-money players out there than Aquilani..

It is Benitez responsibility to motivate no matter what. If he couldnt even put right the "dropped heads at the first game", then that is his fault. He is the manager, he is responsible for the motivating and man managing of players. Portsmouth didn't seem to have much dropped heads when beating us. And they were playing without wages. Benitez has to take the blame for being unable to motivate, or being unwilling to play motivated players, or for being plain poor at handling players. As for the funds..Big deal..Alot of clubs don't get what they want. So they have to use what they have. Barcelona wanted David Villa and Silva and Ribery as first choice too, but instead they had to settle for Ibrahimovic. But they're still playing good football. Point is sometimes you don't get what you want for one reason or another, so you have to make do with what you have, and Benitez has been really bad in this department. This is the second 20 m flop in consecutive seasons. He missed out on Sneijder, who would hav been a good addition too. It's not like he doesnt have any cash to spend, he just doesnt spend it wisely.

ok my bad for those snide comments, but I was more replying to Dirk;s paradise comment after I typed a long paragraph.. Yeah I support Liverpool. Which is I why I don't want anything detrimental happening to it. The owners are the first in that list of course, but now the manager is screwing our club up with his poor decisions. Thats why I want him to either change, or go.
