To be fair that line has been trotted out for years and more often than not proven to be completely incorrect.
Not that we know better.
Jut that managers are very capable of being stubborn to the point of borderline stupidity. We've already seen it in years gone by.

I actually think there's more chance of him leaving due to the hysterical fannies that flip out every day when they don't like something that's written in the press or hear something he says that they don't like. You can tell by some of the comments he makes he's fed up with the impatience and unreasonable childish behaviour of some fans.
Yeah ok
No harm mate but thats nonsense. Klopp is one of the best managers in world football. He is more than capable of winning the league. If we were just better at player recruitment he'd have stood a good chance last season imo.
Fact is we don't know whats causing issues with transfers. Is it FSG or Klopp. If hes decided its only Keita and Vvd and nobody else it'd be one hell of a ballsy move and he'll rightly be held to account if our season goes tits up.
My money though is its not him thats the problem.
I'm not expecting much from this window now at this point. But if we don't sign a centre half somebody involved in our abject failures should be publicly flogged
Jimmy no offence but you're routine is a bit of the old deflect deflect deflect here. You're not really addressing anything but asking contrarian questions. Its like avoiding reality 101 stuff
Insulting and pure nonsense tbh man. people aren't idiots and shouldn't be treated as such. We're just sick and tired of the same shit year in year out.
Its the hope that kills you. Its what I think when people say "Stay Positive".
We've been here before hoping for us to do something right and only for it to not happen.
We're about roughly 2 weeks away from the new season and all seems fairly quiet on the transfer front with the only soundbytes we are getting at least hinting we'll be sticking with what we've got.
I'm probably a natural pessimist but I'm also a realist. Its just going to be very difficult this coming season if we dont have a bit more quality and strength in depth. To deny that is genuine insanity in my honest opinion.
Apparently the Times are saying Chelsea are in for him and confident of getting the deal done.
In a way I'd actually just rather that happened than have us wait like idiots till the end of the window and end up with no one.
At least we could move on.
Dont care who they sell or what they do as long as the squad is stronger at the end of it. Spend more, spend less, spend whatever. Just strengthen the fucking squad
Bayern came out to play against us and we showed what we can do.
A.Madrid sat back and we showed what we cant do.
A lot of teams would struggle against them to be fair. But doesn't change the fact we need to be better at not dropping points against teams that park the bus.
