I think a club's greatness does depend on trophies - and clearly LFC has the best record when you consider championships and european trophies. However, as for championships, it does seem that you are always looking backwards to an era that has far gone? Blackburn , Chelsea and Leeds have won more recently than LFC. We have like LFC always considered the championship as the "bread and butter" of the a football team. Fergie''s obession with Europe is actually an obsession with Milan, Ajax, Juve, Madrid and of course the other European giant, LFC: which Fergie BTW acknowledges. It's one which as United fans is a "love and hate" obsession. Only our non-delusional fans can see how luck plays a massive part in the UCL, look at our wins in 1999 and last year, look at your wins in Istanbul. You are not necessarily the best if you win a knock-out tourney. I do think that today's UCL is harder than the ones that the likes of Villa, Forest, Madrid, Ajax and pre Istanbul, LFC won. There are more games, the opponents are of a better quality - gone are the days when you could meet some shitty eastern block team in the final and do ém. The fact that no one has retained the UCL in current format is testament to that. I think generally, those days are gone - the UCL is so hard that to win it two let alone 3 years ago is almost impossible. LFC are for the first time next season are most dangerous threat to the title. Give him 4 more years and that will be it. I have no issues with our squad but more our manager. We are not looking for a fly-by-night Moanay Ho, but a manager to establish a dynasty, like Shanks, Bob, Clough and Fergus. It could be Bruce or Keane - or even Laurent Blanc - even Querioz. What we do know is that for 3-4 years it is likely that we will be trophy barren - I would rather have nothing for 4 years but get the right manager. Next year will be great but we will not give up our title easily and we continue to enjoy our fierce rivalry.

Well even I'm surprised by the amount of abuse in here..I was just saying that after 19 YEARS on no title, it was a great race and you have done better than any other time in the last 19 years! that is something to be proud of especially as Torres and Gerrard who carry Liverpool have been injured alot What I meant by Chelski is that they sacked their manager because they were not playing well enough and they are only 3 points behind you...so if they get the right manager and start well they will be fav's for the title, United 2nd and you guys 3rd so the FACT is it will be harder for you next season. I cannot believe how you turn on each other...even if the season was to end today, you have made massive steps to closing the gap that has been there for 18 years! If you win the Prem this year it will be deserverd! and that is a massive leap forward! you have beat all the other top 4 teams and with comfort as well...it wasn't a fluke! Of course Van Der Sar needs replacing...but we have Foster so I can see him getting much more game time next season...Edwin will play a bit part. Nani could be the dumbest fuck I have ever seen on a football pitch!! he has alot of natrual talent but his understanding of the game is piss poor! so I think he will have a run next year and providing Fergie and the back room staff work on him he'll come good. Anderson is very good, I'll admit he hasn't really done it this season but it normally happens on the second season...but last season against top quality..like Gerrard and Fabregas he more than held his own, he is normally a forward but Fergie is trying to mould him into a midfield box-to-box player. Zoran Tosic and Adem Ljajic are very, very you would have seen more of Tosic this season but he needs to bulk up to handle the Prem league, he is like a left footed Beckham...but quick! Both Rafael and his brother Fabio look very good as well! Hi, Well I would think Berba has to start pulling his finger out, Keep Carlos. Let Scholes become a coach as I don't think he has it in him any more, play Giggs on rare games, Hopefully the likes of Nani, Anderson, Rafael can get a starting place in the team, to be honest I don't think we need much work, just get the attacking play back to what we had last season. Arsenal will be very strong next season, As will Chelski and you guys will buy some quality along the lines of Torres...so next year will be very tough!

Well to be honest Steve Bennet is a cunt! I know why you guys hate him with the game at OT last season and he is up his own arse big time...but he hates Ronaldo he has sent him off a few times. Alot of what Ronaldo does annoys the shit out of me...the waving of the hands when he falls over, thinking the Ref should blow up because the player had the cheek to tackle him...but you guys have to admit if he played for liverpool and was the same sort of player you would still love him due to what he brings to a team! he has had a normal season and is still top scorer as a wide player! I have been reading on here all the talk of the united game today....which in truth was never a penalty....BUT in your game today...that was never a freekick which led to Alonso's goal he fell over his own feet..also the other goal was a clear handball in the build up.... Whats the difference?? What I'm trying to say is Ref's are only human....
