I think we need to remember one thing here. Dickhead Whelan isnt trying to keep Martinez he's doing his best to get rid and get a nice load of compo. At no point has he ole twat come out and said i want Martinez to stay. All he says is how he wants him to fuck off to Liverpool. What does that tell you? A manager who earlier this season was being lined up for the sack wins a couple of games and kneejerk Liverpool assume he is the next Messiah because he managed to save Wigans bacon for another season. The dozy ole twat couldnt wait to tell SSN that he had given Liverpool permission to talk to Martinez. That was within 12 hours of Kenny going. Every couple of days he wanders on dazed and confused to tell the world Liverpools business and who they should get and who we should employ. Then yesterday he announces that Martinez is having an interview with Liverpool and casually mentions th compensation figure he wants. Sorry but if FSG fall for this Dave Whelan lets get rid of my Lamearse going no-where useless twat of a manager then they really dont know what they are doing. I for one am glad dodgy Dave has leaked that Martinez is in Miami to talk to our Owners...... Bearing in mind that Their offices are in Boston and the Redsox are at home against Tampa. I think our mate Whelan hasnt quite got the grasp on how the American Scorelines works the hometeam are always last unlike ours where the home team are first. The only person touting Martinez as manager is that dodgy old buzzard and to behonest he just wants rid with a nice compensation package. As has been said previously Warrior are an unkown brand here in the uk. In the us however they are huge they have had the NHL franchise for 5 seasons until Nike took over. The main worry i see people have is are FSG any good? Let me allay some fears. FSG own the Boston Redsox. Not the tampa bay devilrays or the Texas Rangers but Baseballs second biggest franchise. MLB would not let a bunch of cowboys own their 2nd biggest franchise. They allow cowboys like our previous owners to own expansion teams but not the bigboys. To be allowed to own the Redsox Henry had to prove and guarantee billions of dollars of investment. Over here football fans dont get how big Baseball is. I've followed baseball now for over 10 years and even the small clubs in the majors generate upwards of 100m per season. Boston has a wagebill of 15om per year and makes a lot of profit in the process. The premier league may not check who is buying its clubs but believe me MLB does. FSG wont make promises for Liverpool it cant keep as negative publicity over here impacts over there. We are in safe reliable hands and moving forward
