    Massively overstating a case?

Rico- I'm kind of broadly in agreement with a lot of what you post on this thread,  but you go way too far.

The Hoylyood no confidence vote is for Yousaf, not the government- it needn't collapse it. The Cass report isn't the main or only reason Yousaf dissolved the coalition. He's an awful politician who's a massive downgrade on Sturgeon and has massively fucked up because he doesn't command the control she did over a fractious party.

It's almost as if some black guy got to be president, the good ol' boys kicked back and some utter cunt succeeded him.

  3. What an absolute mess this is. Never mind the dreadful comms and leading the referee to a decision, how they can pretend offside decisions are in any way accurate is ridiculous.  There was a (nerd) discussion about the limits of VAR accuracy after one of Dave's reports- the consensus was 4-6 inches at best, I'm not even sure if it's that good judging by how the frame was picked and the lines drawn here. Scrap it, now.

  4. Veritasium's an interesting Youtuber with some really good content. The videos often have a fair amount of maths in them, but it's accessible pop science rather than really heavyweight stuff and it's usually explained very well. A few good ones I've watched recently during idle moments at work-

They are nice. The tomato and basil and sour cream and chive ones are good too.

Intresting that this is one of the posters who keeps urging other posters to put me on ignore. This one seems to have a special fetishism as although he continually mentions my name and he's first to jump into any thread where I'm critical of the Israeli government. In short hes a scummy little cunt.

Mugface was once again first in to try debunk the tweet and so defend the IDF, Mossad and their outsider's in the post above. Although no claims were made to authenticity anyway. He has  seemed unconcerned on all the other Israeli falsehoods on the issue. Plenty of them, not a peep.

Here is life long Jewish anti apartheid campaigner, the son of a holocaust victim and an ex advisor to Nelson Mandela, Andrew Feinstein. He posted the same tweet as I posted. I'm waiting for the Mudfaces of this world/forum to label him a crank.

For those who don't know him here he is, although you wouldn't have been able to learn about the man if you'd taken Mudfaces advice and put me on ignore. Which seems his aim.

By Mudfaces criteria, on what 'he' chooses is 'spam'  a man such as Finkelstein would not be welcome to give his veiws on this issue, not produce his links on this subject, on this forum. Dismissed as not worth listening to. Mocked. Finkelstein.

    Just let that sink in.

Hahaha, Jesus. Looking back over the last couple of pages, you really don't like being called out, do you? It might have helped if you could spell this fella's name correctly- it's Feinstein, not Finkelstein you absolute idiot- and no one's mocking him, he's just wrong to assume this is the Mossad account. Equally pointing out that you're wrong, doesn't imply support for Israel in any way, shape or form, it just means I think you're a thick bellend.

Hasn't that Mossad Commentary account been debunked as a blag account?

Yep, it's not the official Mossad account. I know I'm going to regret wondering what the stupid bastard was posting, but fuck it, it's a slow day at work.

Two replies to the first Tweet Gnasher posted point out that it's not Mossad itself-

As does several other articles, easily found with a 10 second Google-

There's more than enough lies and gaslighting coming from Israel and its supporters to avoid diluting things with nonsense like this. But as I pointed out earlier in the thread, actually thinking and doing a little bit of fact checking is far too hard for Gnasher when he can just copy and paste endless spam and pompously assume he's some kind of white knight rather than a fat drunken moron stuck on Twitter for 12 hours a day.

That looks great, lovely views. Where about is it, somewhere in Ireland (sorry if I've missed it earlier in the thread)?

Edit: decided to stop being lazy and found it a few pages back-

The boss of hmrc appeared at a select Committee the other day.

He expressed surprise about the strength of feeling about the 6 month Close down of the self assessment helpline especially from minsters as they were told before but weren't concerned. ( and this was done due to a lack of recruitment)

He also had therese coffey say she went to a hmrc office during covid and hardly anyone was there. Despite the fact her government had mandated working from home. Real intellectual heavyweights these.

I'm sure that'll improve immeasurably when they sack an additional 70,000 civil servants.

  10. The last time I was as angry at a game was the 2-0 loss at Anfield in the 20/21 season. Similarly gutless performance- especially after the earlier Goodison game when Pickford assaulted van Dijk- in the middle of an absolute horror show of games (6 home games lost in a row, wasn't it?). I think it took us another month to get back on track. Obviously it's too late anyway, but this squad really need to step up now otherwise this season will go down in infamy.

  11. We actually looked most dangerous when he deigned to overlap on the right during a spell in the second half, but for a while around the 70 minute mark, he was almost playing at left back. Very odd, as was the way we didn't target Everton's left when Mykolenko was hobbling towards the end of the first half. I appreciate he's not long back from a lengthy injury, but this inverted full back tactic has to die. It doesn't help the team, and neuters Salah who was completely isolated for much of the game last night.

I think she pretty much nailed him.

Used the inevitable attacks to nail them on their complete failure of a housing policy too, although there'll no doubt be calls for a kinder politics without name-calling from the massed hypocrites in the Mail etc.

  13. The 1968 Charge of the Light Brigade is worth a mention. It highlights the pig-headed stupidity and vicious snobishness of the aristocracy, the rigid Victorian class hierarchy and the senseless waste of life caused by a lack of professionalism in an army where your rank was generally determined by your social standing. I haven't seen it in a while and it might have dated badly, but I remember it having a bit of a swinging '60s vibe and anti-war message.
