What an absolute mess this is. Never mind the dreadful comms and leading the referee to a decision, how they can pretend offside decisions are in any way accurate is ridiculous. There was a (nerd) discussion about the limits of VAR accuracy after one of Dave's reports- the consensus was 4-6 inches at best, I'm not even sure if it's that good judging by how the frame was picked and the lines drawn here. Scrap it, now.

Veritasium's an interesting Youtuber with some really good content. The videos often have a fair amount of maths in them, but it's accessible pop science rather than really heavyweight stuff and it's usually explained very well. A few good ones I've watched recently during idle moments at work-

It might have helped if you could spell this fella's name correctly- it's Feinstein, not Finkelstein you absolute idiot- and no one's mocking him, he's just wrong to assume this is the Mossad account. Equally pointing out that you're wrong, doesn't imply support for Israel in any way, shape or form, it just means I think you're a thick bellend.

The last time I was as angry at a game was the 2-0 loss at Anfield in the 20/21 season. Similarly gutless performance- especially after the earlier Goodison game when Pickford assaulted van Dijk- in the middle of an absolute horror show of games (6 home games lost in a row, wasn't it?). I think it took us another month to get back on track. Obviously it's too late anyway, but this squad really need to step up now otherwise this season will go down in infamy.

We actually looked most dangerous when he deigned to overlap on the right during a spell in the second half, but for a while around the 70 minute mark, he was almost playing at left back. Very odd, as was the way we didn't target Everton's left when Mykolenko was hobbling towards the end of the first half. I appreciate he's not long back from a lengthy injury, but this inverted full back tactic has to die. It doesn't help the team, and neuters Salah who was completely isolated for much of the game last night.

The 1968 Charge of the Light Brigade is worth a mention. It highlights the pig-headed stupidity and vicious snobishness of the aristocracy, the rigid Victorian class hierarchy and the senseless waste of life caused by a lack of professionalism in an army where your rank was generally determined by your social standing. I haven't seen it in a while and it might have dated badly, but I remember it having a bit of a swinging '60s vibe and anti-war message.

Rico- I'm kind of broadly in agreement with a lot of what you post on this thread, but you go way too far.
The Hoylyood no confidence vote is for Yousaf, not the government- it needn't collapse it. The Cass report isn't the main or only reason Yousaf dissolved the coalition. He's an awful politician who's a massive downgrade on Sturgeon and has massively fucked up because he doesn't command the control she did over a fractious party.
