They’re Chinese Chippy’s.
I know. I marvel at them when up North- Id be morbidly obese if I had those kind of options in the same shop

Superfan here. Had to go to a hospital appointment with the wife last night and only managed to sneak a glance at BBC Sport showing us 1-0 down after 35 mins. Tutted and decided the reds would need the whole of our journey home to get back in front. On the way home I remembered the injuries and thought I would go to the chippy to give them an extra10 minutes leeway. Sat down in front of the tv with a Yung Chow Fried Rice, chips and curry and nodded contentedly with the 3-1 scoreline. What stress ?
These strange Northern Chippys selling Chinese food!

Gonna knock us of our perch (again) apparently.
Original of him.
Sounding a bit Michael Knighton to me. Its what happens when childhood fans buy their football team

Hi, everyone,
Did anyone tape last week’s Sporting Triangles?
Yeah but the bloody head cleaner cassette didn’t work so it’s a bit jumpy

Waiting for someone not to come out 2nd half as they “felt something”
Wouldn’t be such a bad thing here I suppose

In Gakpo, Elliot and Gravenberch we have 3 players who are strangely adverse to starting games

Serious question here as I don't watch them but is that Mainoo kid any good? It does feel like all one of their players has to do is complete a series of short passes and they'll be hailed as the Next Big Thing (I keep seeing horrendous Twitter aggregator accounts proclaiming him and the nightmarish looking pair of Garnacho and Hojlund as the heirs apparent to Messi/Suarez/Neymar), but maybe he is good? I don't know.
All I do know is there's a serious wankfest around Ratcliffe and his investment at the mancs which completely and totally ignores how bang average his Nice side have been in a far less competitive environment in France. All he has to do here though is roll out somebody once connected to Team GB and a team with a kind run of fixtures going on a winning run is saluted as being transformed under The Great Innovator in a New Era of Professionalism at United.
Cunts. Sick of them again.
I’m still aggressively monitoring Adnan Januzaj as in 2015/16 he was going to the best player the solar system has ever produced

If they make a season 3 I hope it starts with Bren waking up realising him being shot was just a dream.

Drafts in sport......... I wish I had the motivation to one day actually try and understand what they mean and how they work

I love the original as well and I've been dreading this ever since I heard that McGregor is in it. I think the trailer looks awful as well. Oh my god it's gonna be so shit isn't it? Am I gonna watch it? You bet I fucking well am!
He's meant to be Rhodesian not South African isn't he? Superb film that.
Blood Diamond is excellent. One the the best films of the 00's in my opinion.
Weird, very fucking weird.
As you rightly point out- we know Road House will be dreadful but we have no choice but to watch it

Watched them all last night. Heartbreaking stuff, but how was NASA so fucked up, with nobody allowed to speak up or voice concerns/challenge colleagues?
Finished it yesterday. It was jaw dropping at times, and as you say, heartbreaking stuff.
To think the top of an organisation such as NASA would be rammed full of self important idiots and sycophants was quite jarring

Love the original, not sure about this at all

Xabi could humble Trent
I love Trent, I think sometimes his attitude seems weird. Some players just want to win no matter what at any cost and will run themselves into the ground, Gerrard is an example of that another scouse example is Rooney the winning just burns in them as players. Sometimes theres a half arsed feel about Trent. Honestly it could just be that's his general persona. Does he feel others should do his running for him, is he just tired of covering so much ground and getting shit for it because he just can't be everything everywhere.
I’d agree- I think that’s a case of a group that came through at a high level very early in their careers- Rashford, Lingaard, Trent, Sterling etc. Mainly the England brigade. They seem to lose a bit of desire/hunger.
I think Klopp has kept Trent on the right track and surrounded him with the right staff/players with the right attitude.I’m not sure Trent would have reached this level consistently under other managers

Yes, I think Trent is worth it. A marvellous footballer who has yet to peak

‘The Space Shuttle That Fell to Earth’ is worth a watch, a comprehensive overview on what went wrong and incompetence from NASA around the 2004 Columbia disaster.
3 episode series is on BBC iPlayer as of recent days.
Worth checking out.
Watched the first one last night- what struck me was the actual ship looked like it was ready for the knackers yard, even on launch day

Being furious with a player for being injury prone and being disappointed that a world class player came back from injury and played in a big game.
Im not sure a fully fit Thiago (The Liverpool version) would have even got a look in if we had Endo and Szoboslai available.
Don’t think anyone’s furious he played, I suppose just disappointed we had to even call him up

His last actual game was probably in 2021

Im guessing its the football purists that saw something I didnt. A Hollywood pass here and there, a drop of the shoulder.
Assists? No
Set Pieces? No
Pace? No
Goals? No
Fitness? No
Pressing? No
Huge wages? Yep

Endo probably ran him ragged in their first training session together

I’d still take Virgil and Ali over ANY other two in world football.
We lost to Arsenal away, with at least 3 missing.
Did we expect to win every game?
This a tough one out the way. Shame we couldn’t have made a game of it but we aren’t invincible.
Now we will see what Liverpool 2.0 are made of

It was first against second in the race for the league. Fuck the world cup this was much more important.
He was screaming their goals in. The 89 Michael Thomas goal was worthy of it- not Martinelli or Trossard 2024 with about 15 games to play
TV shows you've watched from start to finish at least twice?

Its really only comedy as I still find the jokes funny. The Office, Bottom, The Young ones, Only Fools etc
Although the comedies tend to do be stand alone episodes each time rather than a connecting story- maybe the Office episodes were vaguely connected
Actual dramas like Vikings/Game of Thrones/Sons of Anarchy etc I couldnt sit through again, the enjoyment for me was the story unfolding
