  1. In the past 5 years the likes of Wright, MVG, Price, Smith, Clayton etc have looked like they would dominate- in hindsight they just find a patch of form that makes them unplayable- but it seems to fizzle out after a few tournaments. As you say, its very likely lifestyle plays a part.

Ive read a couple of biographys- Shane Burgess/Colin Lloyd stood out - admittedly these were the days of less money and Taylor hoovering everything up but the lifestyle sounded a bit shit.

Littler may simply win a couple of big tournaments and jack it in with a few million in the bank before he's 18

  2. Winning it would get him a tour card at least 2 years, put him at the forefront of the premier league and qualify for all the major tournaments. Probably about 35 weeks of the next year taken up plus all the media and exhibition stuff.

At 16 years old that’s mad

Well, we'll find out soon enough. Personally, I think he'll batter whoever he plays in the final.

I think you might be right.

Without trying to get all wise and profound but Winning it at this age might not do him any favours in the long term

Cross looks like he can't handle the pressure today and goes to bits.

I’d agree- Littler is crushing people but he’s mainly been up against journeymen or past their prime types.

Im doing him a disservice but I think Humphries or MVG would beat him but this kind of momentum is going to take some stopping

    You must be kidding

The crowd act like absolute twats and the fights are regular as is stupid shite like running and sliding along tables.

To each his own and all that but i (and i am a big darts fan been to all sorts of events and played game for many years) i jibbed it because of the way it is.

PL nights are arguably even worse.

I’ve been to a fair few and never seen any trouble- I’ve mainly been to London or further south.

Guess it’s like anything, occasionally you will get some twat ruin it somewhere

Asking a bunch of pissed up blokes to hit the bullseye 3 times is piss take surely?

    Quite right!

To be fair they don’t charge you and the queues were short- most players need to be pissed to hit a bullseye

And to go all woke there were plenty of all female groups

Exactly that kind of shite is what makes it so shite.

Why? It’s the only sporting event I’ve been to where they actively encourage you to get wankered but there’s not a hint of trouble in or outside the venue.

Aside from the actual darts on stage there’s  entertainment constantly on the go  in the venue with loads of darts challenges and a loads of food options.

You get all walks of life and it’s just a great laugh had by all watching great darts

106% of the crowd voted for Brexit.

Lots of German and Dutch there. Didn’t manage to get a sensible answer on their Brexit view as they poured copious amounts of beer down their Super Mario and traffic cone outfits

A fair result around, shocking handball decision aside.

All it's done for me if reaffirm that the rest of the forward players need a massive kick up the arse, with the exception of Salah. We won't win a thing as it stands with a misfiring Nunez and Diaz.

Not sure kick up the arse will cover it.
