    With the cessation of the HMR the Govt provided £30m of funding to finish off any housing projects. 5 local pathfinders are eligible to vote for this funding, the Govt will "price match" any of these projects and LCC have totalled a bid for £10.5m, The criteria is for streets of run down desolated housing is for streets with 10-50% occupancy.     Why do posters like you put this down to a one bad game, No one with half a brain would suggest to give a newcomer like Coates a debut against the most direct side (Stoke) in the league Carragher's form as dipped in the last 18 months not 4 games this season. Under Dalglish our football as changed dramatically, It's all about ball retention. Of the regular starting eleven, Carragher is the least comfortable on the ball,so when he makes a mistake like Bolton or Stoke, it's magnified in that as well as giving silly goals away his distribution is poor, it's rather hoofed forward or played back or sideways, there's nothing positive about his possession

    I don't dispute that,but sometime or another Carragher had to be "baptised" to playing centre back, it's a piss poor argument to say Kelly's unproven John Every players "unproven" in a position until they've actually played in that position. Kelly could be given a run of games at centre back and not up to the task,but we'll never find out if Kelly's up to the task until he's given a run of games

    I'll concede that it was a debatable penalty, but the error came in not conceding a debate penalty, but the fact that Carragher had a yard start on Walters and let Walters get goal side of him was the error, a classic case of prevention being better than cure, wouldn't you say?
