We should know by now that Utd play without a midfield and leaves the wingers high upfield.

Therefor you leave the full backs, and push one of the centre backs up in space, let the wingers pull their back four wide and get behind them with runs from midfield. 

Instead, we tried to play it like a normal game. 

Didn't help that Mo stank up the place and Electric Nunez has the game intelligence of my cat's litter box. 

Harvey was good, tho. And Diaz put in a shift.

Too many of our trusted plsyers didn't show up. For me, Endo/Macca/Salah/Nunez were not up to their usual standards.

I'm pissed off now, so probably not fair on the players, but....

Allison is often been hailed on here as world class. Is he fuck. His basics are not good and because of that, he messes up quite regularly. 

Van Dijk is arrogant, which is fine if he could be arsed to do some of the dirty work. Too often he just strolls beside attackers. It is also more clear as he is now considerably slower. 

Trent isn't even trying to defend any more, so put him in midfield or on the bench. 

MacAllister has his moments, but as a def mid against a top team - never in a million years. Sloppy under pressure and gets run over physically. 

And Nunez... Yeah, he is cool. But he is not a top class striker. About as cool as a new brewed cup of tea. 

This can be the night we lost the league. 

And btw... Taylor fucked us again.

I know he's been injured, but I would prefer it if Trent tried to do some defensive work. 

Joellinton should have been sent off twice, and we got bookings for absolutely nothing. Still the focus for the media was not Taylors plane crash of a performance, but the Jota dive.
