My best reading of the situation is that Mo must have taken too long to get ready to come on, and Jurgen seemed to be saying we've lost a goal while you were pissing around. 

If he wins his first two friendlies with us somebody on Twitter will reveal his dad slept on a luggage rack on the train to Rome in1977.

The only thing he should be feeling is our gratitude for an 8 year long wild and beautiful ride.

Keep hearing he is like Klopp, then I hear nobody has ever heard him swear or even say goddam, and I get the impression this cannot be said about Jurgen.

I can see why some of you would jump ship and not watch today's game,but I am made of sterner stuff and will watch for the best of reasons

( It's that or shopping for garden furniture with the wife )

I think we were in a slightly false position and I'll be honest, I never for a second thought we would end up winning the league.

I know Xg is not a perfect pointer, but I put a graph on one of the threads after the United league game which was quite interesting. Despite the hand-wringing about our finishing efficiency we were only a goal or so below the expected amount scored. The outlier was goals against where we had conceded 10 goals less than expected, and overall we should have been way back from Arsenal and Man City. A discrepancy like this was probably down to excellent goalkeeping, last-ditch defending and poor finishing and was likely unsustainable over a full season.

Don't agree, Guardiola just keeps buying players and gets rid of them until he finds the ones he wants to keep, because he can.

I feel like this season is happening in reverses.  I mean the start we all knew it was a season of transition and if we could get top four and maybe bag a trophy then we'd think it was successful.. I would have thought we would have had a result like Crystal Palace (and Atalanta) in the first quarter of the season, but we didn't.  We were all lulled into a false sense of security, cos we look fucking hopeless at the minute.

 

 

My mate was saying last night that if we had started the season in fits and starts, but got better as it went on, won the Worthington Cup and worked our way into a comfortable CL place, we would probably be happy enough, but we have done it arse about face.
