I remember Pennant regularly used to find the corner in the warm-ups. Made it look easy, too. Then later in the actual game if he got a chance you could pretty much guarantee he'd hit it straight at the keeper.

Shame Harvey is a bit lacking athletically, as there's clearly a talented player there. Get him on the juice, I say.

Think you might have to re-upload @Chris, unless it really is only 8 minutes long because you all just gave up, which tbf would be totally understandable.

Thought it was a fairly even game, tbh, and a noticeable improvement on the performance a couple of weeks ago. We're obviously still way off where we should be, but small steps forward is about the best we can hope for for the rest of the season, imo.

This country's just laughably bent, isn't it?

Little bit underwhelming. Still very early days, tho.

We need a Momo.

Awful performance in the first half. Slow and predictable going forward, invisible in midfield, and all over the shop at the back. A little better second half, but still nowhere near good enough.
I've no doubt we'll play better in the coming months, but I'm fairly certain we'll have a few more games like this, too. 4th is gonna be a real struggle if we don't bring in some fresh legs in midfield.

Some beauties here.

Just checked and he is actually 6'2". Well I never.

Bale and Ronaldo are both over 6ft, I think.

Great that he's still only 22.

He's probably sacked the people who actually ran it.
Got rid of a good chunk of the DevOps/Site Reliability Engineers early on. As someone who works in a similar space, I cannot begin to tell you how mental that is.

Shots on target is the one with Haaland, if your shots not on target you have an almost 0% chance of scoring (deflections/balloons/beach balls aside) and he's so consistent at doing it.
In the last 4 seasons (including this part season) he's been less than 50% only once when it was an abnormally low 42%).
Kane - hit 52% in one season but every other season has been mid to low 40's*
Salah - Never been above 50%*
Nunez - Never been above 50%*
Ronaldo - never been above 50%*
Messi - Above 50% once.*
*for as long as FBREF have been recording the stats on that player.
His shooting is accurate, too, for sure.

Incredible that in the year of our lord 2022, mfers are still struggling with the difference between climate and weather.

Read the other day that he recently wondered down to the data center at Twitter and just unplugged a critical server, seemingly for no apparent reason. Beginning to think he might not be the tech genius he makes out.

Just watched an interview that Mølby did with Haaland.
Nunez should listen to the stuff about offsides, basics obviously, but need focus.
In short he focuses a lot on not getting caught offside.
1. Because he is so fast he will get there first anyway. (Same applies for Nunez)
2. You cant score when you are offside after VAR.
Haalands focus truly is something else, everyone should try and look at this interview.
The thing that stands out most for me with Haaland is his positioning, especially in the box. The mfer is just always in the right position to get on the end of a cross, or pounce on a rebound. Not sure if that can be taught, tbh.
Where's the interview, by the way?

which kind of shows what a fucking basket case of a country this is,when the party with the best policies, gets wiped out.
Well indeed. And maybe it'd be worth considering why things that are very popular with the electorate, such as more public ownership of utilities, won't be on offer from any of the major parties. And then from there consider whose interests are actually being served by these total fucking arseholes.

Corbyn's Labour was full of cunts too, they were just better at disguising it. Get you ostracised from a CLP because they don't like your trainers then share a solidarity post on Facebook with the people's front of Mozambique.
Never saw anything like that between 2015 and 2019. Neither did my dad, who's been heavily involved in campaigning for over 40 years. In fact the only remark he ever made about the Corbyn years was that there were a lot more younger folk at his local CLP.
Regardless, you're comparing people with power (the people running the party) behaving terribly, and members of a particular CLP. So, not really very useful.

Polling consistently showed that Labour policies were popular with voters (and still are).

Christ, I hadn't even considered the possibility the mancs could win the title.
