I do think they will continue to get military aid from the US.
I'm pessimistic about this. The Republican party will block any attempts and Trump seems to be in Putin's pocket. Only way US aid resumes is if Biden miraculously gets a majority in both houses.

Mcmanaman can go fuck himself as well. Embarrassing that a former player of ours always sounds so happy whenever we're losing.
He always roots for the opposition.

Wouldn't be us if we didn't make things difficult for ourselves.

Have I missed something? Oh well.

Went to see Brian Cox a few weeks back. Well worth it if you are a space nerd.

Is Shogun anywhere as good as it's ratings? It's 9.1 on IMDB which is very high.
The original is very good. This version is ok.
... I say that - I havent seen the original in decades. Loved it at the time, but it may not have aged well.

If I wasn't so certain he's going to Madrid next year I'd agree. If this time next year he's turning down Madrid to stay at Leverkusen then yeah, good on him. He won't though.
Hasn't got the balls to take the job now when we need him, he should never be offered the chance again.
C'mon, that's not right is it.
First, we don't 'need' him. He would have been great, but it's not exactly as if we're shining the bat signal.
And second - if he's choosing to stay at Leverkusen till Ancelotti leaves then fair fucks to him. To think we are above Madrid in his mind is pure fantasy.

National Front offices Islington 1970. The policies on the window are similar to many spouted by our major parties today.. Be interesting to listen in to the conversation in the foreground.
Revd. B Green got 5.6% of the vote in Islington that year if wikipedia is to be believed.

Russia's economy is barely bigger than Italy's yet it has a population twice the size. It has also burned through half of its liquid asset fund that was setup to support the war, and the Ukrainian's are now targeting Russia's ability to produce and sell oil. Hopefully the circle that surrounds Putin are beginning to feel the pinch.
It is all a bit irrelevant though I admit - Trump will save the day for them.

Yeah. Russian economy figures must be real, just like their wonderful democracy.

Does it matter? Foot at chest height lunging into a player in the box?
Dunno I didn't see it, but that was sufficient for Pat Nevin to say it wasn't a penalty.
It was Pat Nevin though.

Masters of the Air is getting better. Amazing sets and battle scenes. They have spent a huge amount of cash.
I like it, but it feels like they are trying to cover too much. It feels rushed, particularly ep 8.
Band of Brothers was great because it chose to focus on particular moments in the war, whereas this seems like it is trying to cram lots of perspectives into each episode and not really doing any of them justice. It's not bad, but I can't help but feel it could have been better.

Selling Salah this summer for 120 million will help the balance and the wage bill. And the new breed of youngsters will save Liverpool millions.

Brought a tear to my eye this one. Seemed a happy fella who made others happy too. RIP Dave.
