Totally agee with most of this. He is without a doubt my least favorite ex manager. Self-rightous, arrogant, lying, manipulating are words that I think of when I think of Ged. Plus the football under him was absolute shit. On a side-note, why have our last 3 managers been primarly defensive managers? Out of the three I would say Rafa is the least defensive, and that says quite much about Ged and Roy... I would love to see us continuously try to play good football, lot just now and then which pretty much has been the case for last decade.

I strongly disagree, Roy has put defense first and always been a fan of the long ball. Let me add that I have followed his career closely for 20 years as Roy and Bob Houghton set the standard for swedish coaches many years ago. I agree that he´s a good manager that has been grossly underrated in the UK for many, many years. I just believe that our football will be back to Houlliers europe away tactics, which were shocking. Wouldn´t it be nice with a manager that brings some flair also?

Roy´s brand of football makes Rafa look like Zdenek Zeman, so yes I agree with you. After Houllier and Rafa I would want us to have a bit more of a attacking manager that Roy. On a good note, everyone that complained about too much squad rotation under Rafa will see the light as Roy will play the same fucking team every fucking game. See us crash spectaculary in feb/march next year if he´s appointed.
