  1. So sounds like the Russian Army shelled some of the Wagner PMC camps and now Prigozhi ia declaring war on the russian army.

Full message of Prigozhi "declaring war on the Russian Ministry of Defence:

"PMC Wagner Commanders’ Council made a decision: the evil brought by the military leadership of the country must be stopped. They neglect the lives of soldiers. They forgot the word “justice”, and we will bring it back. Those, who destroyed today our guys, who destroyed tens, tens of thousands of lives of Russian soldiers will be punished. I’m asking: no one resist. Everyone who will try to resist, we will consider them a danger and destroy them immediately, including any checkpoints on our way. And any aviation that we see above our heads. I’m asking everyone to remain calm, do not succumb to provocations, and remain in their houses. Ideally, those along our way, do not go outside. After we finished what we started, we will return to the frontline to protect our motherland. Presidential authority, Government, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rosgvardia, and other departments will continue operating as before. We will deal with those who destroy Russian soldiers. And we will return to the frontline.Justice in the Army will be restored. And after this, justice for the whole of Russia."

"Humans are a bit boring - it will be like, goodbye!" That's the personal prediction - that artificial intelligence (AI) will supplant humans in many roles - from one of the most important people you've probably never heard of.

Emad Mostaque is the British founder of the tech firm, Stability AI. It popularised Stable Diffusion, a tool that uses AI to make images from simple text instructions by analysing images found online.

Also Google are planning to use AI to publish its search results and it will hit all the online publishers.

Yup. They needs fucking shooting the twats. How the fuck can we do the same mistake again in the same fucking season, its beyond joke.

We need to get rid of Thiago, his fitness is also a joke.

The question is how much of it is due to the player being made of wafers, how much is due to our training regime and how much is down to our medical folks. A bit of everything I suspect, but would be great going back to whatever we were doing there a couple years back. Even Matip and Keita had long spells healthy.

’With the likes of Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta, the Premier League is full of innovative managers - and according to Leeds United's new head coach Sam Allardyce, he is right up there with the best of them.

The 68-year-old has been without a club since leaving West Bromwich Albion when they were relegated at the end of the 2020/21 season, the only time in 17 top-flight seasons that he has finished in the bottom three.

Now taking charge of Leeds for their final four matches of the season, in a bid to keep them in the Premier League, he has launched a passionate defence of his abilities.

“In the highlight of this year when [clubs] have had their troubles, they’ve always known where I am, but it’s never materialised until now,” said Allardyce in his first press conference at Leeds.

“The football club chooses which way it wants to go, and far too many people think that I’m old and antiquated, which is so far from the truth.

“I may be 68 and look old but there’s nobody ahead of me in football terms. Not Pep, not Klopp, not Arteta. It’s all there with me, and I shared it with them.

“They do what they do. I do what I do. But in terms of knowledge, and depth of knowledge, I’m up there with them.

“I’m not saying I’m better than them but certainly as good as they are. I just wish that sometimes you can get the opportunity that you can show it.

“But that’s never going to happen for me now, apart from [aiming to] keep Leeds up, and if I stayed at Leeds, [hoping] this club was big enough to build a team that was going to challenge those boys eventually, but that’s a long story away.”’

no idea where to even start with that. Fucking hell.

    https://edition.cnn.com/2023/05/02/football/2023-womens-world-cup-media-rights-infantino-spt-intl/index.html

    CNN —

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has threatened a Women’s World Cup broadcast blackout in five major European countries over unacceptable offers of media rights for the tournament.

“The offers from broadcasters, mainly in the ‘Big 5’ European countries, are still very disappointing and simply not acceptable based on four criteria,” Infantino said at a panel discussion at the World Trade Organization headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

The UK, Spain, Italy, Germany and France are the five European countries Infantino was referring to in his remarks.

“To be very clear, it is our moral and legal obligation not to undersell the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Therefore, should the offers continue not to be fair (towards women and women’s football), we will be forced not to broadcast the FIFA Women’s World Cup into the ‘Big 5’ European countries,” Infantino added.

Australia and New Zealand will co-host the 2023 Women’s World Cup from July 20 until August 20.

Infantino urged broadcasters to pay a “fair” price for the media rights for the tournament, FIFA – the world football governing body – announced in a statement on Monday.

Infantino noted “broadcasters pay $100 to 200 million for the men’s FIFA World Cup, but they offer only $1 to 10 million for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.”

He called the current offers a “slap in the face of all the great FIFA Women’s World Cup players and indeed of all women worldwide.

“Firstly, 100% of any rights fees paid would go straight into women’s football, in our move to promote actions towards equal conditions and pay. Secondly, public broadcasters in particular have a duty to promote and invest in women’s sport,” Infantino continued.

“Thirdly, the viewing figures of the FIFA Women’s World Cup are 50-60% of the men’s FIFA World Cup (which in turn are the highest of any event), yet the broadcasters’ offers in the ‘Big 5’ European countries for the FIFA Women’s World Cup are 20 to 100 times lower than for the men’s FIFA World Cup.”

So far, FIFA has agreed to media rights deals with 156 territories for the 2023 Womens’ World Cup. Negotiations between FIFA and the “Big 5” European countries are ongoing over media rights for the tournament.

In March, Infantino announced prize money for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will increase by 300% to $150 million with “plans to dedicate a specific portion of this payment, to go to football development with another portion to go to players.”

While the Women’s World Cup prize money is now three times the 2019 figure and 10 times more that in 2015, prior to Infantino taking over, it is still considerably lower than the $440 million total prize money awarded at the men’s World Cup in Qatar last year.

Looking at my Mediazona Russian death count posts, they found about 10,000 names between December 3 and their last update April 7 (which they estimate is about 40 to 60 percent of the actual figure). Add about 2,000 for the rest of April and it looks like US intelligence is no better informed than this thread or open sources. (Same when they come up with equipment losses which are conspicuously similar to the  Oryx visually confirmed losses count).

Recently leaked documents figures were also in line with the above.

Somehow I doubt they are as badly informed as us. Just a hunch….

whether they deliberately decide to paint a better or worse picture, I guess is up for debate.

but they are as badly informed as you or me, not having that.

Five years after suffering life-changing injuries in an unprovoked attack, Seán Cox is able to walk upright with the aid of a robotic skeleton.

The father-of-three was attacked in the UK in 2018 after travelling over for a Liverpool match.

Now, on the fifth anniversary of that attack, Mr Cox is able to walk upright with the aid of a robotic exoskeleton.

In their Meath home, Seán's wife Martina recalled how it was an emotional moment seeing her husband walk in the exoskeleton for the first time.

"[It was] very emotional, really, really emotional to see him. He actually started in a sitting position and then he just stood up and then [just kinda] walked towards me. And even the look on his own face! It's so good. We don't know what is going to come out of this but psychologically it's really good for him," Martina told RTÉ's  Prime Time.

On April 24, 2018, Seán and his brother Marty were walking up Walton Breck Road outside Anfield stadium on their way to see Liverpool play AS Roma in the Champions League semi-final when they were attacked by away supporters.

Seán was left with injuries that required him to be placed into an induced coma at the Walton Centre in Liverpool.

Speaking about the importance of the anniversary, Martina said: “I don't dwell on it, to be honest, life is too busy and life is too short as well. We are just trying to move on, get the most out of life.

"Seán, he is a relatively young man still. We want to have really good memories. We are starting to go out a little bit more, we've gone on holidays. We just want to do more of those things."

Martina said the family continues to look to the future.

She said: "In sickness and in health, those words, they are so powerful. There was never a second thought I was going to do anything else but look after him.

"You think your life is carved out for you but then it just goes to show you really can't plan because this happened and then everything changed. But I'm still happy and Seán is happy and we still love each other and I think that's what makes all this work."

Seán has a number of carers who come to the house during the week to support them.

Martina feels the Government needs to be doing more to help with the vital service that carers provide for families like theirs.

She said: "Home care is particularly tricky at the minute, it hasn't been consistent. Seán's needs are high, recently a lot of the hours are not met, and this is down to the fact that there are not enough carers.

"The demand is really, really high for both disability and the elderly in the home but the supply of carers is just not there because I think what they are being paid is too low. I think the government needs to definitely look at investing more money into this area."
