The headbut at the start and the wink to the bench were pretty sly and snide, but Ronaldo didn't Rooney sent off, surely? Rooney was sent off for stamping on Carvalho's bollocks, also pretty sly (and eye watering). Ronaldo came to complain, which you would expect. If it had been Rooney being stepped on, I'd have expected the England lads to complain too. I didn't see Ronaldo waving any cards trying to get Rooney sent off. Doesn't alter the fact that Ronaldo will be public enemy number 1 next year if he stays at Man Ure.

A lot of people slag off Cisse, rather unfairly in my opinion. His fee was not his fault. As far I know he has always said the right things about Liverpool (the club and the city), and has looked genuinely pleased when the team win (or he scores!). He has done the business on the field- his job is to score goals, the number of goals scored v. appearances is satisfactory, bearing in mind that many/most appearances were not full games, and many were played on the wing. He may have looked a lazy f**ker, but for me his job was to score goals, which he did. And lets not forget the dancing at the Champions league final (and FA cup).

The problem was his face didn't seem to fit for Rafa. I don't know what Rafa thinks, but it seems as though Rafa wants hardworking versatile players, not just a goal scorer. Rafa's the man, I support his vision of how he wants the team to play, but I do think Djibbers has been a bit harshly treated. He hasn't said anything bad about Liverpool, and I don't think we should be slagging him off. Good luck at Marseille or wherever he ends up.

Gotta agree with that. Passion, incidents, good football, diving, cheating, class players- this game's got the lot!

Getting back to the game, much as I would like to see Brazil taken down a peg or two and for Motson to choke on the torrent of effluvient pouring from his mouth that passes for BBC commentary, Brazil have just strung together a beautiful move down the left that made me smile with its sheer beauty (about 4 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho plus various others). Maybe they can play the beautiful game for three matches, entertain us all and lose each match due to an outrageous refereeing decision or something.

Yes I did- didn't get much response so I thought I'd ask if anyone here had an opinion on him. So now that you've spotted the double post, do you actually have an opinion on him? ;)
