Yup, should count themselves lucky the ref didn't decide to blow it up as such.
As for the Saka 'penalty' he clearly goes to make contact with Neuer, had he stayed on his feet he could have rounded him or there'd be contact anyway, instead he had already long decided to throw himself at him. All i'll say is you know full well had that been Salah the narrative would be totally different from fans and pundits alike.
The bullshit from Ferdinand and especially Keown over the Saka incident is ridiculous. Keown called it 'alarming' that the pen wasn't given.
Fuck off.

Take it how you will but Bruce Grobbelaar reckons Diaz has offers from PSG and Barcelona according to mate of mine who was talking to him in the ale house today.
What's Brucie's cut of the signing on fee, and will it be delivered in a brown envelope?

Trump is boasting that he over-turned Roe v. Wade, so this is an appropriate spot for it.
They're absolutely fucking mental. Religious fucking loonies telling people when they should and shouldn't have kids, who to love etc.
It's 2024, the fucking puritanical turds.

The support he (rightly) got after the racist abuse he received post Euro final seems to have fuelled his ego, and he's turned from a quiet diligent and effective player into a petulant little shitehawk.
The ref should have sent him off after the final whistle. In fact he should have sent him off for the dive.

Couldn't think where else to post this. Fucking backwards arseholes

He's.....what's that word I'm grasping for?

The worst thing for me was, I was waiting for our 3rd goal to go in once it went to 2-2.
I was just waiting for the 'goal' graphic to come up on the BBC, so I could go fucking mental on the train.
Me, the world's biggest pessimist.
It had to be those cunts we blew it against, fucks sake.

What, in the WSL? Because Arsenal are winning the Premier League game.

Fuck it all now that LIV have essentially got their grubby mits on the whole game.
It can get in the same bin as tennis and Man City, and then it can get in the sea.

Nah, it has noticeably improved, at one point it looked like Resident Evil we're doing an immersive promotional drive for the next edition.
Piccadilly is still a dump, but nowhere near what it was a few years back.

Yeah I ended up getting the train into Victoria as much as I could. Nowhere near as bad there. My work was right by Oxford Road Station, so I stayed round there mostly, unless I worked late and had to go to Victoria to get the train home.
You tended to see the same people all the time on the streets round by the Palace theatre, the station and that. Mostly decent folks from what I remember.

I was on the Strand today and between the underground station and the Nicholsons boozer on the corner there were 15 beggers or various types.
Its wild how bad it is down here.
I was last up in Liverpool in Feb and it was nearly as bad though.
Burnham has done a lot of good work in Manchester as that was horrific about 5/6 years back with spice zombies and that is much better now and a model to follow.
I stopped working in Manchester full time 4 years ago (start of COVID lockdown), and finished there completely 2 and a half years ago.
There were less spice zombies, but the homeless levels seemed just as high.

Genuine question mate - I can be negative more than most about LFC in the modern age, but you seem to genuinely hate them all. Why do you bother? As I mentioned in a reply to @BeefStroganoff in a post yesterday, I'm hoping this is my last season.
It's a tough drug to quit though, despite the shitness of modern football.
It may be easier now than before, my kids aren't interested, nor is my wife, and now that my dad is gone there's nobody else I talk to about it regularly outside of the forum.
I've never used drugs and I'm not a big drinker, the only thing I've been addicted to is this fucking game.

That's a fucking ridiculous statement.
26 or 28 points from losing positions, if you're telling there's no luck involved in that you're having a laugh.
Arsenal and City destroy teams, more arsenal this season if I'm honest, that we just about scrape past.
We were lucky to get this close.

We’re the best team in the league and the table would reflect it if we hadn’t been totally fucked by PGMOL. We lost this league against Spurs at home last year.
We're really not. Arsenal and City are a level above us, we've got by on blind luck until now, and it's run out..

I think the Rafa thing was because he knew he'd sell him before he ever played for him.
And Hodgson gave him a decent twilight to his career at Fulham. Somehow managed to stave off relegation, and played in a European final were it took Forlan at his absolute peak to beat them in extra time.
He's a bit of a helmet as a pundit, but he knows he had the greatest days of his career at the club he's worshipped all his life.
