He's not fucking off though, he said he has been working with Labour in the background to establish a role going forward regarding privatising the NHS.

I understand why you dislike him mate, but he's not right in the head.

@TheSire Bloody hell, reading your posts feels like reading about me, so many traits.
I hadn't even thought about adhd for myself, even though the lad has it.

Ronnie flies through the first two frames against Ryan Day, then completely norses up the next two.
Almost schizophrenic performance so far.

Does your partner have it or ADHD as they're highly heritable and they can often both occur as conditions. What about yourself personally?
Cath (Champ) asked the same question, neither of us have been tested so far.
Out of the two of us, I'm most likely as I have a lot of traits found on the autistic spectrum.

My youngest got diagnosed with Autism, aged seventeen. Reading about the challenges on here makes me smile, and feel sad, at the same time.
Anyway, I took him out for tea last night and the following conversation took place;
”I’ve bought a lottery ticket tonight. The jackpot is £130m. If I win, you can have whatever you like. What would it be?”
”I don’t know”
”I know it’s hard, try and think of something, whatever you’d like”
”Can we have some nice bread?”
”Of course we can” (Dad fights to hold back the tears).
Fucking hell mate, that got me reading that.
I'm an emotional mess anyway at the moment, but that tipped me over the edge.
Now buy him some fucking nice bread.

Could it be that they were there all along but they were attributed to other things, like his personality and a general lack of awareness of neurodiversityEvery chance that is the case, but up until he was well into secondary school he seemed like a normal (bad word I know) well adjusted happy kid.
He's fallen off a cliff the last few years, and it breaks me.

We were talking about it at work again today; questioning why it had taken so long for us to see the generational link for young people being assessed to have ASD/ADHDThe lad didn't start properly showing signs until he was in his teens to be honest Cath.
Thing is our experience with him helped us when getting our youngest diagnosed, we noticed the signs quicker.

Have either you or their mother been assessed at all?No Cath, neither of us have.
I'll be honest if there's a chance of me or the missus being autistic too, it's most likely to be me.

Diagnosed late, which I think has helped in some ways I've had to adapt through life. I'm very good at masking and can generally chameleon my way into most social interactions, etc but find I'm exhausted after it. I'm overstimulated by noise mostly. I live a reasonable normal life and my autism is nowhere as severe as others, I feel like an imposter sometimes when I see others who are further in the spectrum but then I think, i've been assessed by trained professionals who diagnosed me so I must be.
As for your son, I really don't know mate as every case is entirely different and the way his brain processes stuff could be alien to me. Maybe, in time he'll find his own way. Just give him space, quiet and don't overload him as that is definitely a trigger.
Zero help since diagnosis btw.
Cheers, he was diagnosed when he was 16, and hadn't really shown signs until his teens.
By the time we realised what the signs were, he'd fucked school off and now seems to have fucked life off.
It gets me down because I wasted my teens and twenties being a miserable arse until I met the missus. I don't want to see him miss out in the same way.
I think I'll take your advice about giving him space, maybe one day he'll be mature enough and ready enough to make changes and accept help if it's offered.

Everyone is different and responds to different things. You say you have never had depression, so how can you say therapy doesn't work for someone who does?
It doesn't for me but I'm autistic and 80% think we are living in a simulation. Everyone is different, every person's concept of reality could be unimaginable to others.
In short, who the fuck knows what's going on and what works.
Can I ask about your autism mate?
My lad and my youngest daughter have both been diagnosed in the last 2 years. My girl isn't too bad, but my lad has no life. He's 19 and I feel like he's never gonna live.
What kind of help have you had with your autism? The lad won't engage with anything, meds, therapy etc. He just says nothing will help him and its not worth trying.
I'm just looking for any hope.

Has anybody else noticed the date of the game is wrong in the thread title?
Apologies if somebody has and I'm late to the party again.

Hang on, John Mann accused Falter of lying?
The same John Mann who hates Jeremy Corbyn with a passion?

We need @Strontium to point out why you're wrong and this is all normal and justified.
That would mean him arguing against one of his oppo's (Norman Baker).

Dave had to cry himself to sleep before putting it out.
Now you see, I know this is probably a joke, but this is why I'm getting away from football.
It matters too fucking much, and it really shouldn't.
It's not even enjoyable when you win anymore because it will be tainted by VAR, shit refereeing etc.
Just get in the sea football, and fucking stay there.

I'm doing my best to stay out of these conversations, but one thing strikes me.
Van Dijk isn't much of a captain when the chips are down is he? Bit of a shithouse to be honest.
As much as this will piss some posters off, if we'd had a Henderson or preferably Milner as Captain would we have surrendered so meekly?

Great times and great memories.
Pre-Rushie era (just). Superb players and just about the first proper team I remember, could have put Jimmy Case in there really, maybe Sammy Lee too, obviously the bionic carrot as sub.
Not the same game anymore.
Edit: Thinking on, it would have been Thommo alongside Jocky at number 4, Lawro joined and Jimmy Case left.
Either way, superb team.
