I swapped Palacios for Lucas in my fantasy football team two days before the Villa game. Then had to waste my one free transfer for the week after the game swapping him for someone else.

Haha, I see you point and they are not one of my favourite bands, but some of their early stuff is very good. They don't stand still though, they do try new things. I think they suffer greatly from Chris Martin being a GIGANTIC cunt, same as U2 with Bono.

Edit; When I say they are Immense but not one of my favourite bands I mean that I like them, but Chris Martin kind of negates a lot of my positive feelings towards them.

I fucking love Oasis, they are by far my favourite band of all time.

I remember buying Whatever on CD single when I was about 14, before any of my mates had heard of them, and playing it over and over again. They are in no way overated, in 20 years time they will be looked back on as the biggest band of the 90's by a mile.

Bands like Radiohead and Coldplay are immense and a lot more innovative than Oasis, but for me, Oasis have that little bit of magic that makes a great band one of the best. And I like Be here now as well, always have.

Gutted they have split up, I went to Heaton park to watch them on the 5th of June and they were amazing.

I think the new server is a very good idea and it is really frustrating that when you really want to post, you can't as the server is over loaded.

 

I am being a bit obtuse, because I want to see if I am wrong. I didn't know Dave pm'd people gold members snippets... if he does then maybe he should say so, as it would attract more members I would have thought. However if he doesn't then, I would be extremely unhappy paying for something abnd not getting it...

Are you being willfully obtuse? It is not just about being able to rep/neg etc.. your contribution will help pay for the new server which will hopefully stop the server overloads, thereby enabling you to enjoy the site more and also help keep the site going.

I think, Reina aside, near enough everyone today was distinctly average. Johnson was no more than OK and I don't think he is a massive improvement over Arbeloa ( though, as it is early days, I think he will be a lot more important to us than Arbeloa as the season progresses ) I thought Lucas was no worse than Mascherano and the only player who was actually bad was Babel. Benayoun was a big improvement when he came on, and Babel is fast running out of time to impress.

We have to write this off as a one off and focus on the Stoke and Villa games, which should see us clock up six points.

I think Rafa had another "rafa's rant" moment about the fixtures and immediately gave his players the "Everton" attitude towards this game. Alex Ferguson didn't start moaning about Birmingham, David Moyes didnt start moaning about Arsenal and both just got on with the job even though they were both crap too. Rafa thinks we only need to peak around the run in,such a typical spanish math class!!, he forgets the points in september count the same as in march and that's the reason he has never been competitive in the premier english league..that is never..because of this kind of chubby spanish waiter attitude. C - No. Back round the time of World cup 98 I was 18, had a fair few evertonian mates who I was able to put the Liverpool - Everton rivalry aside with and just enjoy getting pissed and watching England.

I've got an impacted wisdom tooth coming through which is killing me, my dentist is on holiday for 2 weeks so I went to the emergency dentist by the grafton and they were shit and basically said they can't take it out.

It looks like I have either got to wait for my dentist to get back or go to the dental hospital on London road which I don't want to do as I have heard about some bad fuckups happening there.
