Yes, fair play to the Dubs, much better team in the second half, better forwards = win

Ned Flanders(talking about Woody Allen): “You know, I like his films except for that nervous fellow who’s always in them.”

Lamb for me, my neighbour has an organic farm and gives us a whole lamb for our freezer every year, it is sensational.

Can't wait for this to start again, great show.

Congrats to the dubs, amazing match, should be a dream final.

The "playing badly and winning" test passed by mayo, please let this be our year!

Both at the same time? Eye watering
No. 2 years apart, still eye watering though.

I've broken both collar bones in my teens (over 20 years ago). The right one healed with an overlap, it took a few months but never had any major problems apart from some pain during really wet weather.

See Also : Huddle.
And "Sprints" is the new word of the day.

We've recently started having "Scrums" every morning at 10, everyone stands around and tells what they're going to do today. A load of shite and I hate the f*ckin rugby analogy.

Friday Night Lights was great, the final series just finished up on Sky.

Aidan O' Shea's performance for Mayo yesterday was the best I've seen at Croke Park in years. Astonishing display, he was absolutely unplayable.
They string two more performances like that together, they'll blitz their way to the All Ireland. Great to see ferocious, attacking football obliterate a template based on defence, flipcharts and dietary supplements.
This, it's so painful being from mayo over the years, but this year we seem to have addressed the past problems, lack of forwards and fragility. Dublin always been my second team, would love to play them in the final.

BOOT
Been watching Under The Dome and it just reinforced what a total and utter load of shite most King adaptations have turned out to be...with the obvious exceptions of course.
My favourite King novel is The Stand. Great book (underwhelming ending imo), but the 4 part film is another steaming pile of dog shit.
Which brings me to my point : I would love a new feature length version of The Stand. Keep King fucking miles away from it; get a fucking shit hot director in for it (Danny Boyle, David Lynch, Pascal Laugier), and some great unknown acting talent, scare the living shit out of the audience and make a film that does the book justice.
Randall Flagg is not a fat hillbilly wanker.
The TV series of the Stand was utter shite, Molly Ringwald ffs, there is talks about a proper movie with Ben Affleck directing, but not confirmed yet.

I saw an amazing gig last week with about 10 others in Galway, Cara Luft a Canadian folk singer (with backup from a Liverpool lad, Scott Poley, an excellent multi-instrumentalist) she's touring the UK at the moment. Anyone into Folk/Bluegrass (she did play a class acoustic version of Led Zeppelins Black Water Side) should check her out.

Jameson or Jack Daniels for me but if you want a longer drink/mixer then Jameson with Ginger-ale and Lime is okay.
A slice of lime obviously!

Saw a guy called John Murry last week in Galway, such a brilliant gig, bit of a Neil Young / Warren Zevon type of act.
