I stopped watching the 11.22.63 series as well when it came out, it was just so different to the book, which I absolutely loved.

I recently went back and re-watched the series and enjoyed it a lot more.

On the Holly Gibney/Mister Mercedes series, Finders Keepers is superb, Mr Mercedes is quite good but slow to start and End of Watch is okay. The Outsider is great and the Holly Gibney novella in If It Bleeds is very good too,

Has anyone seen much of Jarell Quansah? He's getting good reports from his loan at Bristol Rovers.

That's why Virgil and Konate are the perfect partnership. Gomez and Matip are not aggressive, "body-on-the-line" defenders like Konate - they don't enjoy it, he does.

Have to say they work so hard, we've been really poor but you have to admire them, they fight for everything.

I'm listening to "The Long and Faraway Gone" by Lou Berney and it's excellent so far (I'm halfway). a really good crime story.

This is the second of his books that I've listened to after November Road which is also superb and set just after JFK is shot. A guy who works for Carlos Marcello has to go on the run as Marcello is wiping out anyone with close ties.
